Aye, a great divey punk bar in the east bay. Ideal outdoor space, inside there’s a small stage for intimate shows. Metal core is blaring in the background, and there are two stocked pool tables. It's a dive bar with live music and food. Bartender was great. Tater tots are delicious. I'm not drinking anymore but bartender was able to make me a root beer using Italian soda syrup. Back area is large and very cool. You can smoke cigarettes out back which is nice.

Such a great old school vibe at this venerable blues club in the heart of Oakland. Amazing music with an alternating cast of vocalists and musicians as the night went on. Crowd was a mix of ages and colors and a positive vibe all around. For a break from the tunes there is a vast back yard area with tables and a second bar that has beer and wine. Get liquor from the main bar only. Bartenders were working hard but very friendly. Great time!
