I’ve always loved the food. The service has been decent, but today was a different story. I went to pick up my order. Said hello and that I was there to pick up my order, showed my order on my phone to the tall man with colored contact lenses, and all he did was smirk, slowly walked away, and went to do something else. Everett & Jones Barbeque on Broadway Street in Oakland near Jack London Square is the truth. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for black history month with key colors and signs at each table, giving an authentic southern cuisine ambiance. It was St. Paddy's day and our usual restaurant couldn't sit our large party of 24. I called Everett and Jones, and they told me they would be ready for us in 15 minutes. They opened a whole section for us, took our orders in a very organized manor. All the drinks, and food came at the same time. The waitress rocked it, even took our picture. The food was screamin! Our group has a new place to go to, and we will keep coming here.
