Going to miss this hole in the wall Chinese spot. Great Wall was a great seafood/vegetarian Chinese spot on College Ave that was very affordable. I came here regularly for fried rice, the eggplant dish, the sesame ball dessert, the vegetarian beef dishes and many others. The food always tasted great, was prepared in a timely manner and the cashiers were always friendly. Now I need to find a new local spot for Chinese food.

We are so sad to see Great Wall closed! My husband and I have been fans for years since we moved to Berkeley. Great Wall was both a treat and a comfort food. The food was always priced great and tasted even better; we've never had a bad order or experience in our probably 2 dozen visits. My husband went into liver failure last year, so we hadn't been able to eat out due to strict dietary restrictions; he got a new liver and is finally able to have good food again, and he was heartbroken...read full review
