SO - my partner and i have been coming here for decades. fantastic spot. but a recent interaction sealed the absolute deal of it being an AMAZING place. i lost my edc here months ago. little KISS folding knife. i was so sad, and called in and talked to kat. took my info. we bonded over our similar names and numbers. well, i went back with my SO for the silly heart day today, and just happened to stop maria and asked her about the knife. she came out a minute later WITH IT IN HAND....read full review
Great service in a low key atmosphere with good food and big portions at a reasonable price. Not sure what more I could ask for in a small neighborhood Italian restaurant. And the complimentary focaccia was icing on the cake.

Just as good as the North Oakland location food and service-wise. I do prefer the interior of the North Oakland one better, but it’s more just personal preference. Outstanding food, no frills just all quality and care. Got the spaghetti and homemade meatballs and it was incredibly delicious. ? I will definitely be back! The canollis look amazing too.
