Let's play a game. McDonalds is to French Fries and Starbuck's is to ___________. Give up? Me too. I thought the answer was coffee, but after my latest experience, I'm now convinced that I'm starring in a remake of "Groundhog Day". First, a little context.I have been stopping into this SB locations for years to get my morning coffee for the commute. It was easy, reliable, and consistently good. The former manager and staff would great me and start pouring my Venti Dark Roast w/room before I reached the register.Then the staff changed...Then the pandemic hit...Then mobile ordering exploded...The commutative result is that; a) they now longer have fresh brewed dark roast available in the early morning, b) they're often understaffed and over stretched with the number of orders they're trying to handle, and c) they REGULARLY HAVE NO BREWED COFFEE AVAILABLE... at 6:30 in the morning.This morning, when I walked in to pick up my coffee, there were only two people working. One person was methodically laying out food in the display case. The other was valiantly trying to do everything else... and failing. After waiting for several minutes without a greeting, I asked if they'd gotten and order for my coffee. They had. Another awkward couple of minutes passed until I noticed the young man working as the barista was frantically trying to grind beans to brew some Pikes Place Roast. When I asked him if they we currently out of brewed coffee, he said "yes!", at which point I decided to pull the ejection leaver, get a refund, and hop on the road without my coffee, frustrated, and behind time. And just to be clear, this isn't the first time this has happened in the past 2-3 years.I get being swamped with more to do than is reasonably possible. What I don't get is not taking 7 seconds to let waiting customers know what's going on and offer a solution (make another drink, offer a refund, perform a nifty show tune, etc.). None of that EVER happens at this location, and I have seen other customers experience the same thing, so this is a pattern, not a hiccup.I haven't stopped at a McDonalds for some time now, but I'm betting that if I did, I could get a bag of those tasty fries without any trouble. Sadly, Starbuck's seems to have lost the plot on this simple fact, and in the process, they've also lost a long time customer.

Bakari the cashier had great energy but some girl in a blue shirt had a bad attitude the moment I walked in I greeted her with a good morning and she decided to ignore me and make me feel little I think her name is eliana I hope she has a better day and decides to leave her problems at the door before she clocks in on her shift I understand everyone has an off day but last time I check when your working for a place a business your always suppose to make the customer feel welcomed.

Poor customer service. Total lack of any patience or even minimal listening skills. I asked for extra drizzle on a frapp and instead got no drizzle, and too much ice, not enough flavor at all in my drink. I won't go back to this one.

This Starbucks location was so friendly! I came here twice during my quick stay in the area and they were pretty busy both times and were still efficient and friendly which I don't see at all locations. On top of all that, the coffees I had were made perfectly.

I just wanted to send a shout out to Jeremiah who works at the lakeshore store and who helped me with my order. i was hosting an event at my house and i had ordered a box of coffee. Jeremiah was super helpful- making sure that i had everything that i need including sugar, cream stir sticks etc. Felt like he really wanted to take care of his customers - his service made my day!!! Grateful that Jeremiah went above and beyond what was expected of him

The store was very clean and organized. I walked into a staff of friendly faces who embraced me and my son. I had a great experience with the cashier by the name "Mia" she caught my attention b/c are names are the same she performed great service, she was polite and patient when taking our order. She recommended different drinks and made sure we received our order in a timely manner. My recent visit at another location was not so pleasant so I was hesitant about coming back. I really appreciate the engagement/service amongst the staff, their positive energy towards one another as well as with me the customer. Great job staff members keep it up!

Nice outpost of the chain. Loads of tables and chairs inside and a small covered patio in front. Heads up that they have removed most outlets to discourage long time visitors but have reopened their restroom. And they are next to Noah's if you're looking for a convenient morning stop.

Very clean, sharp starbucks. Lots of tables, no clutter. Small souvenirs spot with basic items like mugs and tumblers. They have nitro coffee on tap with 2 taps options. Outside seating also available.

Usual I take my coffee everyday ... Starbucks lakeshore Avenue... 7 AM. Is April 20.. I shocked very very bad service .. Most employed so kind except except today 2 employees so rude..
