The ramen menu is rather limited but what's there is REALLY good. I haven't had the chance to try the sushi yet.

I should've spent the extra 10 min drive to my regular sushi spot instead of taking a risk at this restaurant. What the heck, the best part of exploring is you never know what gems you may find or find along the way. Anyhow, I came around dinner time and the first red flag that I failed to check off was if the restaurant is usually empty its a good sign they are either aren't that popular thus the turnover for fresh food aren't exactly fresh. The second sign was that this restaurant had a plethora of items across their menu. This goes back to the first issue...in order to compensate for all the items on the menu they usually hold the food longer and thus this leads to mediocre food in the long run. I assume they are holding their fishes longer because of the pandemic and in order to avoid waste. They either have the fish near freezing. I sat down and order myself a 16 piece chef choice plus a dragon roll for my meal. The establishment itself is clean, the staff are kind and attentive. This all went downhill the moment the food came. The 16 piece I received were thinly slice as if they were rationing my meal as if there wasn't anymore left to serve. The sashimi pieces itself were not fresh and I could easily tell that they've been in the near freezer temperature was the cold bite with a likeness in the icy crunch. Fresh sashimi usually melts in your melt without much effort but this time...it was the opposite. I would expect a $. 99 cent sashimi to be like this but darn it not when I'm paying nearly $40+ bucks for a 16 piece. The dragon roll was the only decent piece they had but the fake stuff of imitation crab was just ugh. Anyhow, I finished the meal and went over to burger king to grab a whopper meal just to satisfy myself because my $70 something meal was unsatisfactory. I'm sure they cna do better but the pandemic is no excuse to ration your portion nor is it an excuse to freeze your fishes longer or colder than it needs to be. For anyone wanting to grab any sushi. Always grab it from a place where there the turnover is high. This usually guarantees that the fish are at least decent enough to bite on and not be disappointed.

A solid selection sushi that's fresh and flavorful without gimmicky inventions plus just the right texture of rice. Miso Ramen was also good but in this day and age they need to make clearer when they are dropping pork into a soup. What looked like a veggie offering had bacon or something looking like if added for supposed flavor? Stop it.

This spot gives excellent service as well as yummy menu. The best restaurant around here. The food came out rapidly and the rates are inexpensive. Recommended.

The ramen they sell is costco is better, that's what they call Japanese food.

They had typical good quality Japanese cuisine. The rice was perfect and the green tea was good. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and got the spicy variation. It wasn’t too spicy and i would’ve liked a bit more flavor (salt, etc.) in the broth. It had some fishy ingredient as well. Not too impressed but if i was going to try it again I’d go with what the waiter picked and do the black and white version.

Today I purchased an expensive take out lunch for 2 at $54.00 plus 20% tip. Had to discard both of the shiromaguro, both of the saba and one of the hamachi nigiri. The tobiko tama was totally off the rice and the yolks had burst. Nothing tasted fresh. We threw it away because we were afraid of getting sick. What a terrific waste of money. Such a disappointment.

We were so happy to get a reservation here tonight and had a lovely outdoor dinner in the patio making the most of the warm weather. The food - as always- was delicious and lovingly prepared. Service was fun and friendly. Cannot recommend any single thing: everything we ordered (tonight and on previous visits) was off-the -hook. Long Live NAMA! A neighborhood treasure!

Just ordered a $75.00 meal of four rolls from door dash. I was excited to try out this local business, as I just moved to the neighborhood. It was a very disappointing experience. First, we only got two soy sauce packets with four rolls. Additionally, they did not provide utensils. I called the manager to ask about the soy sauce and utensils- he responded by telling me I needed to put in a specific request to DoorDash for utensils. He also could not answer why we did not get sufficient sauce. Presumably, this business is trying to save money by cutting corners.I reached out to DoorDash and they informed that it is not necessary or a real policy that I need to request utensils or the correct amount of sauce. The manager lied.Additionally (as you can see in the picture) they are putting minimal amounts of fish in the rolls. Ridiculous- you might as well just order rice and cucumber. While I understand times are hard and corners need to be cut, it is not appropriate to do so in a dishonest manner. I realize DoorDash takes a 20% cut- the high prices they set for this sushi are not worth it, especially when you are not given the adequate utensils and sauce. When I informed the manager of how much I paid, he said “you paid that to DoorDash, they take a 20% cut.” While this is true, it’s an unacceptable response to why adequate tools were not provided.I recommend spending your money elsewhere , such as Ginza- HONEST business, fair prices, provide all utensils and put a fair amount of fish in the sushi. If this business was honest and tried to rectify the problem, I would not have written such a negative review.

Called for pick up and the service was as friendly as ever. Ordered the dragon, the hama hama, 49er, and double dragon rolls. Plus seaweed salad and agedashi tofu. More than enough food for two people. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Great ratio of fish to rice and sauces. Also gotta love having the parking lot right there for easy pick up. Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood take-out sushi experience. Already thinking about the next time.

Absolutely delicious food! The sushi and the yakisoba were both great. And the miso soup truly is bomb, as prior reviews attest. The tempura was crispy and light and the sauce was flavorful. Friendly service and great recommendations. Pick up window is totally COVID safe.

Some of the best miso soup ever! I have had most of the sushi on menu. The salmon Kama dinner was the best! Large portions of food. So good! Quick service. Has a pick up window during covid.

This place is worth trying. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Consistently clean and with great mood. Will visit here again.
