I always enjoy The Wolf. Great lunch today. I had the cod sandwich which was just as good as the last time I had it. My friend had the popover and soup. We sat on the patio and it was so relaxing. I didn't feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated after a crazy week.

Truly delightful. We had no reservations and sat at the bar. The bartender was great. The appetizers and meal were great. Good portions. Good food. Solid pricing. Would definitely go back!

Chill spot to grab lunch. Piedmont dad vibes for the most part with a good wine menu. I had the wedge salad w/ chicken and it was delicious. I would for sure double back with a “friend”.?I also recommend the black eye pea soup, I was told it taste like Sunday dinner.
Came here for an anniversary dinner. Meal and service were excellent. Very creative flavor combinations. Would highly recommend the duck paté with mandarin mostarda and the tomatillo base seafood stew. Chocolate layer cake with kumquat and earl grey crème anglaise was also a surprisingly great combination to end the meal.

This is one of the absolute best places to eat in all of Oakland. Service is 100% , food is 100%, ambiance is 100%. All of this and the prices are right. Staff are all on point and go above and beyond to provide excellence. It's refreshing to go to place where the staff provide great service these days. You won't find a better restaurant in the piedmont area.

Had a wonderful dinner on the valentine’s eve. Little gem salad was refreshing and appetizing. Risotto was flavorful and had a nice depth to it. Burger and fries were simple yet very tasteful. Seafood stew was simple yet delightful and I could taste every single ingredient’s texture and flavor. My wife and I were very happy. Our server was also very attentive and graceful. Will absolutely come back another time!

Knowing this restaurant is owned by the same people that own Wood Tavern I was expecting the food and service would be of the same caliber but I was sadly mistaken Although the food and drinks were good the service was awful. Everyone was great at apologizing and telling us they would make it up to us but nothing changed through the meal We had to keep flagging down the waiter to utensils, water and eventually the check I am not sure how burgers that cost $26 could take over two hours to get ordered and served Overall was just so disappointed with the service and likely never to return.
