Literally the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The red curry had a weird stink to it which made it inedible, and they had my order wrong. Gave me a chicken entree while the description said vegetarian. Very disappointed and frustrated!

Food was pretty okay. If you like a quiet place to do some work at lunch time, this is the spot. Only thing was they charged me 8 dollars for tax...

The chicken wings are adequately described as chicken bones. There was absolutely no meat on them at all. They try to get by on the flavoring which is decent but it seems that they are trying to up sell spare parts. The pad thai (for the price) is decent, but the noodles are way overcooked.

Went there with a friend on a Saturday. It was a surprising little gem in an odd location. We were the only customers at that time. The owners were delightful. I had a fish dish that was on the specials menu. My friend is a vegetarian and he found plenty of options. We were both delighted with our meals. I look forward to going back there.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was exceptionally friendly. This is a family-owned establishment, and every dish we tried had a wonderfully fresh taste. We ordered Pad Ped Pla Duke, shrimp rolls, tom yum soup, and pad kee moh with shrimp – all of them were absolutely delightful. We plan to return for more in the future. The cozy, family-oriented atmosphere of this mom-and-pop restaurant made us feel right at home. The added bonus was their extended hours of operation from 10 am to 12 am.

"The Vulcan Cafe" is a Thai restaurant in East Oakland that stays open late. I had a recommendation that I try this place, so on a Thursday evening I ordered: - Garlic Chicken Wings (6)- Tom Yum Gai SoupOkay, the chicken wings look great in the photo, but were overcooked and hard to eat. I had to throw away a few. Grade (2/5).The Tom Yum Gai Soup gets Grade (4/5) with it's delightful blend of flavors in a rich broth. Thai style hot and sour soup with chicken and assorted veggies.Rich and satisfying soup, perfect for a cool evening.

Asked for extra extra spicy and got mild mostly bland food. So make sure you ask for extra chilli’

I love this place. The White Fish platter is amazing and fried to perfection. This is the epitome of a mom and pop shop.

Delicious, high quality, fresh vegetables, spices, and meats - comfortable, home-style atmosphere, informal living room style with sofas and furnished warehouse feel - beautiful rose garden deck, small outdoor dining area. Quick service and delicious appetizers, Fried Spring Roll and Calamari. Unusual industrial neighborhood and DSP right at the end of the street.

INEDIBLE FOOD!!!I ordered Uber eats an hour before they closed.. maybe my fault.Like the previous review says about the wings, DRY, TOUGH - the worst part - WITH CLAWS & SPIKES. NO CHICKEN WING SHOULD BE SPIKEY. Surprisingly, the spikey wings had the most flavor out of everything. My favorite Thai, Go-To STIR FRY NOODLE DISH - Pad Kee Mao, HAD NO NOODLES IN IT! If they went out of noodles, I wish they would have let me order something else instead.. it was all vegetables in a sauce. The FEW noodles I did manage to find were so mushy and texture was disgusting. So they put all vegetables & a few beef pieces in a sauce to TRY TO COVER THE FACT there's NO NOODLES - in a STIR FRY NOODLE DISHLastly. THE FRIED RICE IS NOT FRIED! It's WHITE rice mixed with veggies - NOT AN OUNCE OF FLAVOR, soy sauce NOTHING.I thought I was playing it safe with stir fried noodles & fried rice DISGRACEFUL. How do they stay in business with such awfulllll food like this?NEVER THREW AWAY FOOD AWAY SO FAST IN MY LIFE! - EVERRR. Because I'm cheap & I love food - but this was just that terrible!

Personally, this was not for me. I ordered take out--chicken pad thai, and an order of chicken wings. The wings were extremely dry and inedible. There was no, no source of tenderness or juiciness from the wings at all? *NOTE: The chicken wings will be actual whole pieces of a chicken's body. What I mean by that--I got an entire LEG--down to the foot and toes. Couldn't eat it.The chicken pad thai had a bitter aftertaste? It wasn't a spice or a food bitterness, I can't quite describe it. I wasn't able to take more than a couple bites without the bitter taste overwhelming my tastebuds. I would not order from this place again.
