First time at Legato Pizza and NY style pizza was very tasty with very fresh crust. Reason for 4 out of 5 stars was that the restaurant was too bright, felt a little bit like a doctor's office. They need to create a pizzaria feel an tone down the lights. Also need more beverage options, what pizza joint doesn't have root beer. Great food and great family.
The pizza is sooo good! I ordered a calzone and they're pretty big. The calzone came with 2 sides of warm marinara sauce. Which was also delicious. The place is very clean. Definitively coming back for more.

My husband and I really love this place! I am from NYC and he is from Michigan and we are so picky about our pizza. We have tried many places here in Oceanside and we must admit that we found the best pizza and garlic knots right here at Legato. A fire destroyed the place back in early March but we can only hope to see Legato back in business soon because we miss good quality pizza!
