Ruby's on the pier in Oceanside is our favorite casual beach restaurant. The food is always great, covid rules followed, it's like sitting on the ocean to eat, views are marvelous. We never miss this experience when in Oceanside.
Was a great experience! We were seated upstairs and had a great view! The only thing that was disappointing was that the restrooms were out of order and we had to go half way down the pier to use the public restrooms... Which ruined my appetite . But this was still a great experience. The staff (all of them) was absolutely perfect. They also have the menus available only electronically. Take a picture or download a QR reader

We were told there would be a 45 minute wait for a table. Since that wasn't bad we waited, but it ended up being a 2 hour wait. They were so short staffed that there no one was really there to bust tables ( that's why we waited so long for a seat ) . The food came out relatively fast but a lot of our things were forgotten like drinks and sides. I ordered a milkshake and did not get it until we received the check.
