“Wow, what an experience and a wonderful array of food!! We tried about 10 different items on the menu, and nothing disappointed us. Our first time at a sushi restaurant and the staff helped us decide and answered all our questions about the food. The yellowtail, shrimp, salmon, seared salmon, oysters, Phoenix rolls, and edamame, just to name a few of the items we had, were so delicious! We'll be back“
“This is one of my favorite places to eat. Whether I dine-in or place the order to-go, I know the food is going to be prepared well and taste delicious! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order.“
“The gals at the front are so sweet and accommodating! Food is fantastic portions, I tweaked my order a bit and they didn't flinch! All smiles! Portions are huge and the are FAST! plenty of great staff that check on you frequently! Brings me back to Hawaii! I love and will return!!! High quality for low dollar!!!“
“We decided to stop in on a Thursday night for some sushi. We have been on the hunt for a new place since moving from Hawaii; it's very tough to find a place that isn't mostly crabbed based rolls. To say the least, we will be back. Sushi was great and reasonably priced. The extra options such as the bento box was delicious. Service was good and they seemed to have many to go orders. Great casual dining for all !“
“Great place for dinner. We each got the teriyaki shrimp, and beef bowls, also the salmon roll. The beef in the bowl was tender and delicious. Shrimp was plentiful, and the salmon roll hit the spot. Came away with full and satisfied bellies, would definitely eat here again!“
“Just ate here for the first time. It's a super small location in a strip mall, however don't let that fool you! We ordered the 15 piece sashimi for $30 (two them because they were so delicious), two rolls, a few beers, sake, and edamame and our bill was very reasonable for a sushi place. The fish was fresh and buttery. Would 100% eat here again. Probably the best fish I've had in San Diego county so far (I'm also a sushi snob).“
“Really enjoyed eating here! All the sushi was fresh and just melted in your mouth. They make a great old fashion, and baked dynamite roll is addictive! Our server chelsea was super sweet. I also noticed their staff was on top of it and working really well together. The bartenders had a good mood. The interior was fun to look at as well; casual but nice. You're going to spend money here. But it was worth it.Vegetarian options: They have a vegan menu.Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs available.“
“My daughter's and I have made this our Tuesday Sushi Night. We've named it Tushi Night. We have met the owners William and Jun and we can't begin to tell you what an unbelievable experience we've had.It may not be the fanciest Sushi Place but the Sushi is out of this world. They have gone over and beyond to make our visit special each and every Tushi...and the Servers are the best. William and Jun thank you.“
“Wow! What an experience! You definitely need to put this in your list for sushi in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. Had a fantastic experience here. Food was great and even better service. Tako yaki was great and really recommend the spicy crunchy fried tempura roll. Very good!“
“I've been eating here for over 12+ years but recently my husband and I ditched the sushi restaurant we used to go to and started eating here more frequently. The food is amazing. There has never been a time when the food wasn't good that I can remember. Service is outstanding. Van is a GREAT sushi chef who helps everyone else out in the restaurant and makes my husband really delicious uni shots. Vanessa and Malvin are also amazing at what they do. They are so nice and friendly. I recommend the Kelly roll, larb, papaya salad and the salmon skin roll. Ask for their house made garlic ponzu sauce. You won't regret it!!“
“The service was great. The atmosphere was great too. Very calm whilst busy. I enjoyed the food very much. I got the gotta gotta roll and it was yummy. The seaweed salad here is super yummy. I think it had radish in noodle strands in the middle so it was much more refreshing. I enjoyed it.“
“Food was great. Rolls were fresh. Waitress was awesome. Front greeter was a bit slow. No greeting when we first got there. Not even a simple ‘welcome I'll be right with you'. That basic/simple step goes a long way as far as starting the dinner experience on the right foot.“
