“Everything here is sort of what you expect for a restaurant in a resort. However they are really bad at calculating how long of a wait you will have. My 20 minute what I was quoted was over 1hr 30min.The one saving grace of the this place was our server. She was excellent.”
“Le Chamois is one of the most well-known places to grab a drink after a long day of skiing at Palasides Tahoe. It's no frills like most of the best apres spots at ski mountains, but this place is a must visit to refresh and recharge! It was very crowded on the occasion that we stopped by. The service was still excellent.”
“This Place was BAD ASS. The atmosphere had good vibes. The bartenders were so pleasant and welcoming. Marc and I will definitely be back soon. #isbte. #bar86. life is f...ing beautifu. #scotty”
“Probably the best spot in the village for food. Big portions and tasty food. Lots of options for everyone and various flavors of margs. Wet burrito, burrito bowl, and birria tacos are all a hit.”
“Visited this bar recently and was thoroughly impressed. The water was refreshingly ice cold, the beers were perfectly chilled, and the fish sandwich was delightful. The staff were exceptional, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms, was notably high, maintaining a comfortable environment. Although the atmosphere was lively and bustling, akin to a traditional pub, it contributed positively to the ambiance. The pricing was reasonable and in line with what you'd expect from similar establishments in the area. It's an excellent spot to unwind after a day out skiing, offering a cozy setting to relax and recap the day's adventures.”
“Located within the Resort at Squaw Creek, (now called the Everline Resort & Spa) Cascades is where to go for breakfast every morning. The buffet is absolutely amazing. It's actually one of the best breakfast buffets that I've ever seen. They even have a bloody mary bar, which is pretty unique. In any event, I highly recommend the breakfast here.”
“We walked in here mid-day after skiing and were so happy to find healthy and fresh food for us. We both got paninis and found them delicious. The only worker, Randy, was not only kind, but can also make a heck of a panini! Thank you, Randy!”
“Since I don't ski, I wanted to find a nice cafe where I could enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book while waiting for my skiing family members to come off the slopes. A local guide suggested that I try the Coffeebar Cafe which is at the very end of the Olympic Valley mall area. He said that the coffee was better than Starbucks. I went and he was right. The cappuccino was perfect. (I think the Starbucks coffee is a dark dark roast whereas Coffeebar is a medium dark roast) There are lots of tables and chairs on the outdoor patio as well as some comfortable tables inside the cafe. It was not a noisy gathering place. I read my book! Folks were masked. The menu includes soups, salads, and paninis. The patio faces the ski slopes so I think this is where we will all meet next time for lunch.”
“Finallyyyy I found you! I have been on the hunt for WildFlour Baking Company because of the positive reviews I have heard from many guests around Squaw Valley. The hype is real. The cookies? Delicious. The EM Taco flavor?!? Amazing! It's an english muffin stuffed with tasty ground beef, taco flavor of course! WildFlour is a delicious bakery that also offers breakfast items and lunch sandwiches. If you are in the area, make it a point to come visit and try everything you can!”
“Great wine selection and service. The lady working today was very helpful in picking out a zin. Clean, nice decor, and a great selection. Wine menu available by the glass too. Cheers!”
“Imagine if your absolute favorite farmers market food truck posted up at the base of your favorite ski mtn...I legitimately think their kasha bowl is the best on-mountain food I've ever had.Excited to support y'all during the winter - my only suggestion is better signage so that folks know you're here!”
“Ty, charisma incarnate, a beautiful man. Charm and charisma. The night started with a great cocktail, the KT Espresso Martini. And ended with the goulash. The banter and charm are unmatched, 10/10”
“Coffee made with skill & care and the smoothest & best made latte I’ve had in California since arriving a week ago. Thanks, this Aussie appreciates you!”
“High end bar and grill. The food selection is slightly on the limited side. With only a handful of appetizers, a handful of entrees and some sides to choice from, along with some special of the day.All the food is delicious and quality is top notch. The server, William is kind, attentive and friendly.”
“Amazing staff and I highly recommend their pizza garlic chunks it's fantastic! It's a pretty quick process as long as the people in front of me already knee what they want. I'm very excited to go back and try more of their dessert options”
“Visited Rocker for brunch and was thoroughly impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The brunch menu was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The ambiance of the place, complemented by some great background music, set the perfect mood for a relaxing meal. It's worth noting that they also serve lunch and have a bar, which I'm eager to check out next time. I'm coming back next season!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a side ramp for accessibility entrance.”
“Not really sure why the stars are so low, this place has probably some of the best froyo I've ever had. Toppings are kinda scattered and limited, but it's still very good!”
“I never write reviews, let alone for just another Starbucks I stop at...but these guys were awesome there. I ordered two of my same drink I get at every Starbucks and it was made just wayyyyyy sweeter than normal and I ordered 2 but only got one. I told them I ordered 2 and the barista (Filip or Finn I don't quite remember what his name tag said) was super friendly on making my other one they missed AND remaking me my drink that was too sweet I felt bad as I was asking a lot, and right in the middle of him fixing my drink and making me the other one, a lady came up and complained she got too much cold foam on her cold foam drink (????) which it was a normal amount and she wasn't the nicest to him which made me feel super bad and like we were being overwhelming Just wanted to say he's doing a great job and he was overly kind to me to fix my order. He even told me at the end of it all, that if it's still too sweet he would remake it AGAIN.Great customer service and very friendly employee and I just wanted to get on here to say thanks again for helping me out and you're doing amazing!!!”
“Love this place post skiing! We skied right up to the door for some warm ramen post rainy day runs! We were promptly greeted at the door and our order came out quicker than our noses defrosted! :)”
“Came here on a weeknight during a trip to Tahoe. We were seated in the bar area at a high top that still offered a nice view of the beautiful lake. We opted for the tasting menu. The first course was a kanpachi, which was very light and flavorful. Next was a delightful beet salad. I enjoyed the scallop and lamb dishes very much. I thought the service was underwhelming, as they asked for us to hold on to our silverware between courses, which I find less than ideal for an upscale restaurant, particularly for a tasting menu. It was also hard to summon our waiter, as he was quite elusive. Their house breads were fantastic, though, and I really enjoyed their house made olive oil and lavender infused butter. The triple chocolate dessert that is part of the tasting menu is quite small but very rich. My dining partner opted for the panna cotta instead, which I think was stronger dessert. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here due to the quality and execution of the dishes and beautiful ambiance.”
“We always enjoy getting Mountain Slice whether it's for the pizza, the ice cream, or both! Make sure to call early in the day to place an order for dinner as they get very busy and sell out. Today we ordered the tie dye pizza. I am allergic to tomatoes, so I ordered it without the vodka sauce and extra pesto. Had a little miscommunication on my end about the sauce, so when we picked it up it had a tomato sauce base. We explained what we had thought we ordered and the two guys working quickly made a fresh pie. Very thankful that they were so accommodating. The pizza was delicious with pesto as the base sauce! The dough is the star of the show. We've enjoyed both the regular style and the Detroit style pizzas here. Would love if they started doing some pizzas with other base sauces! Love that they are starting to do late nights with more arcade games, late night pizza, and beer. I think that's super fun and will draw in a cool crowd. Great option since nowhere else is open late. Go get the best pizza on the West Shore!”
“Mind-blowing restaurant in Truckee. One of the best Italian places we've been in the US - certainly the best pizza we've had here. Really great food and drinks. Worth every penny.”
“The restaurant is excellent in every aspect. The food is amazing, offering a delightful array of flavors and textures. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff making the dining experience truly memorable. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience.”
“Chill vibe, great music, friendly staff, comfy seating with plenty of beer choices and food!Forgot to take pictures but I always appreciate a place that has more than one Pilsner option! No need to call any place out but this and great wolf have the best beer options on truckee”
“If you are in the North Lake Tahoe area and looking for a legit Third-wave coffee roaster then this is your place. I'm an avid home roaster and always on the lookout for small shops that cater to my tastes when traveling. I was fortunate enough to drop in today while the owner Drew was roasting on his trusty Diedrich just inside the door. It was a priceless experience getting to chat with him about roasting and even get his advice on my struggles to hit the City+ sweet spot with my dry process beans from Sweet Marias ?.Ok, coffee roasting geeking aside – You can't go wrong here if you want to have a solid espresso drink or a carefully prepared pour over with a choice of freshly roasted coffees from different origins. I had a perfect flat white with the house blend and tasty sample of the fruity funky Columbian they were offering pre-brewed. As you'll read in the other reviews the vibe here is chill and the service was great. If you enjoy craft roasted single origin coffee that's not too "dark" (ironically) be sure to stop by this place! Oh, and don't forget to pick up a bag of freshly roasted house beans to bring back to your coffee loving friends back home!”
“Food was very good and the service was great. The music was a bit of a miss for a French bistro spot (Chili Peppers) but was ok once they turned it down. ~$100/ person with a shared appetizer. Worth a visit.”
“Great comfort food in a campy wood-paneled pub/yachtclub-style setting. Went there for lunch to grab some takeout, ended up waiting over 10 minutes to see much less speak to anyone. The place was busy with plenty of medium and large groups, the staff was overwhelmed to keep up. But once I was able to place my order the service was pretty quick. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would very much haven enjoyed sitting down at a table, there is also a bar.”
“Amazing sandwiches. Wanted something warm so we shared the tuna melt on wheat hoagie and Reuben. Both were excellent. I think I preferred the tuna melt but that's bc I love tuna melts in general. Warning tho, that thing was gigantic. A twofer. Luckily I was starving after skiing. The Coaqua coconut water was also really good.”
“Nestled in this little strip mall next to the 7-11. It's a great spot away from downtown with parking, for a quick, easy and delicious coffee break/sweet treat. I assumed all the treats here were gluten free, but alas, maybe not? Regardless, I believe that most are and while I'm not gluten free, they were delicious. Pastries ranged from croissants, to muffins, to cinnamon rolls and more. I went with the chocolate ganache croissant and the chocolate banana muffin. My kids loved both. A bit more of a 'spongey' texture, but still so buttery and flakey. I assumed the spongier texture was due to it being gluten free. My cappuccino was more of a bitter roast than my preference. They do charge extra for plant based milk. Inside is cute. And they have a fridge with breakfast burritos to go. I look forward to trying more things.”
“I work in Olympic Valley and have eaten here many times. I love it! I get a pepperoni pizza with pineapple. Yes I think pineapple goes on pizza. It's delicious. We also order from them quite often for our Sunday group lunches for our staff.”
