Old classic American steakhouse. Bartenders are outstanding and pour a good drink not your standard 1 oz. . The Owners Jeff and Steve have greatly improved the place the last several years. I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Tartan room is our favorite restaurant for prime rib in all of Orange County drinks were amazing. The band sonoramics were excellent. I recommend The Tartan room to anybody that's hungry for steak prime rib good music and a killer

Loved this place! I have lived in Orange County for 28 years and I've driven by this place HUNDREDS of times and never knew it existed. Great food, incredible vibe, tremendous happy hour, and fantastic service. I had the king cut prime rib, and I felt like Fred Flintstone! Huge piece of meat and very good. Sides were great too...excellent whiskey selection with Eagle Rare at reasonable prices!
