“This is The Cutest lil hidden gem just steps away from the beach. Come grab some Delicious grub and enjoy it here or at the beach! Definitely a fun cafe with huge portions, even the Mimosas were HUGE! ?? I recommend for the great service and food but most of all it's on the way to the Beach ?I love the sand everywhere ?“
“Yummmm! Haven't been in years but decided to head in for breakfast. The host was very polite! Seated quickly. Our server was awesome. We ordered drinks and got them promptly. Our food came out and was delicious. Huevos rancheros and grits! So good! The owner came over and chatted with us. Very friendly. Recommend!“
“Good food, lovely service, and great selections of BBQ foods. Would recommend everything in the meal except the pizza. It was a bit underwhelming. Other then than great friendly and lovely staff and good food. Just know that parking is tight and small.“
“The draught lager beers were flat no head on the beer so nxt visit I'd advise to get bottle beer I did try explaining but the young lady didn't know what I was talking about the food was ok pub meal I returned nxt day as was on holiday had sausage mash and baked beans which in my experience were not heinz baked beans as they say on menu but mash sausage was very nice I did visit 4 times in a wk“
“First of all, great food! I did not dress in super nice clothes, but everyone was friendly and the service was great. Definitely a great place to go anytime, and especially if you are dressed up and ready to seize the day. I was there on a slow night, so plenty of tables, no wait, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience. I was on travel in the Oxnard area, and I plan to add Larsen's to the list of places I need to visit again. Thank you!Parking: Park behind the restaurant. Plenty of open spots, short walk. Street parking in front is difficult to secure.“
“tldr: An unexpected treat. Fast casual done well. Great burger, reasonably priced, and a comfortable atmosphere. Zero regrets. Food $8 Hook Burger (5/5) - Your classic burger on a soft bun. Satisfies with every bite. $4 Fries (5/5) - Medium cut tasty potatoes. Again, classic done well. $5 Onion Rings (5/5) - Big cut rings. Perfect crisp and flavor. $4 Sweet Potato Fries (5/5) - My least favorite but only because I prefer the other options. They are good though. Get all three as a "The Trio" for $9. Would I Return? Rating Yes. This place reminds me of The Habit, but a notch less casual. You feel like you're in a restaurant but it's not stuffy full service. Very lively.“
“A nice sports bar with lots of different beer on tap. The cocktails are good too. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the beer batter onion rings are great, the meat pizza has a nice, thin crust, and there is plenty of free parking. Great place and highly recommended. Thank you.“
“We love this place! Great food and drinks, and fun live music on Fridays and Saturdays. We also love the Friday night specials. We always love starting off with the pretzels, and their margarita made with fresh jalapeños is my favorite margarita in the world.“
“Well, I turned 62 today so my 91 year old dad wanted to take me to dinner for my birthday. Since Quincy's closure, we thought we would check out the Strand to see how the food, service & ambience is now. This place is definitely still a locals hideout! The table order was: BBQ chicken plate, Salmon plate & peppered ahi plate. My dad raved about his salmon; the evidence is in his plate being near empty. My pan seared ahi plate was really great too. My sister said her BBQ chicken was good too. All in all, it was a great birthday dinner. The service was slow although not by the waitstaff, seemingly the kitchen. Waitstaff all very friendly, attentive & kind.“
“It's the Channel Islands Harbor version of Cheers...Friendly Bartenders, honest pours, great view of the Harbor, indoor and outdoor seating. Nightly entertainment, big screens for sports, Monday night Football, excellent pub food....great choice for casual dining and drinking.“
“I love this winery and the restaurant. The wines are good, the atmosphere is beautiful. Going up the stairs and seeing the barrel rooms from up above is so awesome! The dining experience is so nice. Have been here a few times with my husband, and also with my little daughter, and with my mom too. Brought friends for wine tasting.“
“Old school burger joint that's been part of Oxnard for a very long time. I used to come here when I was a teenager and only ever got the burger and fries. Now that I'm a little older, I had to try the other items on the menu. Boy was I missing out! The Fried burrito and taquitos with cheese were amazing! Yes they are probably not the healthiest but damn they were so good. It's the type of food that you crave in the middle of the night. Next time I'm getting another fried burrito with chili to go along with my double cheeseburger. Perfect! Oh ya did I mention the prices are insanely fair? Food always taste better when it's light on the wallet haha.“
“The food was good, but I didn't enjoy my meal as much as I hoped to. The salad was just okay. The vinaigrette tasted unexpectedly sour. Not it's usual good tangy flavor. I ordered the bbq tri tip sandwich. The meat was tender and thinly sliced but no taste of bbq. I was disappointed with that. Service was good, no complaints there.“
“Had a blast here! Great time for groups. Bottomless mimosas are a great price. From the Crepes, bacon to hash browns this place crushed it. I wish I lived closer so I could come back!! Visit here for a good time, great food and amazing service!“
“I ordered takeout: chilaquiles and a vanilla latte. Staff was very friendly and attentive, even though I wasn't a sit-down diner. It's a small business that has comfortable indoor/outdoor seating. I like chilaquiles but if you prefer the chips to be crispier, mine ended up being less crispy than I hoped. The flavors were great.Parking: 30+ spots in the business parking lot. More street parking available.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid-friendly menu options.“
“This will be our new brunch spot. The food is a bit better than the other breakfast places here in Oxnard. Also, this is a homegrown business which will definitely get my support. Service is good even during rush hour. I can't wait to try the rest of the dishes.“
“Well, another great experience at IHOP. They certainly are my favorite place especially when I am on the road with my family. This particular one was incredibly beautiful inside and out parking easy friendly faces. The food was excellent. It was just another great experience thank you IHOP, handicap parking and access. Definitely done correctly. Plenty of parking easy in and easy out as well as seating. loyal customer see you on the next trip!Vegetarian options: I would say in my opinion that talk to your server, they will accommodate you they did for us, so I’m sure it is available the way you need it.Dietary restrictions: I believe there was a section on the menu, but I’m not quite sure.Parking: It was in a great location with a few other unattached buildings, and quite a bit of parking spaces. Very nice!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, which is very nice. There were many children with families and the atmosphere was perfect.Wheelchair accessibility: The best I’ve ever seen if it was like that everywhere it would be much easier for the general public who need the space and the access to get in and out that would be wonderful“
“Fifth time here, first time was St Paddy Day, food was so good we brought extra home. Each time we come we try something new, always top notch.Chowder better than BrophysItalian better than PetriniAlexander seems to always be around checking on things.Worked with two bartenders over the visits, both providing generous pours and consistent service.Won’t mention Happy Hour, don’t want to ruin it….LOL“
“My only true complaint about this Lazy Dog is that it's not closer to where I live. I love Lazy Dog but there's none in the north 818 so if Ive got a craving, I gotta jump on the 101 and drive up to Oxnard. The staff here is always nothing short of wonderful. They're always friendly, helpful, accommodating for a family with 3 small kids, and in the rare instance that there's a delay in the food coming out or a mistake, they're quick to apologize and make good. It's something I wish other restaurants would do as well. It's not hard to do.Food here is good. It's nothing classy, but it's full of fun, flavorful takes on classic restaurant food. I've had several things here and have never been disappointed. My go to, however, is the PB&J bacon burger. Don't let the PB&J turn you away. It's so good! Perfect blend of sweet & savory. I also want to shout out their beers. They're fantastic. They offer a great beer club subscription that, once again if I lived closer to a location, I would sign up for in a heartbeat. If you live close to this location and like their beers, it seems like a no brainer to me to sign up.“
“We ordered tons of food in celebrating a birthday. Overall service was great especially for our large and chatty table lol! Had lots of apps that by the time our meal came, we couldn't finish it all. They did great when it came to signing happy birthday and we enjoyed our time catching up with family. All the food looked very appetizing, just as pictured. The waitstaff did amazing servicing food to everyone as well and refilling drinks as needed.“
“This is my first ever Google review. I've never been so impressed, here I am now leaving this review as I sit inside the restaurant. If your looking for a nice dinner. This is the place for you. John the host was engaged, informative and friendly! The manager Nick found out that this was our first time here and took the time to I introduce themselves and too was engaged and just as friendly. The food waa amazing. The brussel sprouts did not disappoint. The Salmon looked wonderful! The Thai chicken salad was amazing.“
