“Super good service. Seated us quickly, helped pick out some appetizers and got us them quickly. Goat cheese with chilli sauce is really really good. Edamame also was seasoned well and was a great order. Manager gave us some fries to try for our first visit and talked to us for a bit. Overall just a really great experience. Good job to the staff.“

I accidentally cut a cop in line because the second lane was open at night (and the "please use both lanes" was out too as well as the "please merge"), but I asked the person taking my order and she said that we're not supposed to use it at night ? “Finally gave this place a try after wanting to go here for a while now. Was pleasantly surprised. It's a no frills burger joint that is really solid. My burger was good, the veggies were crisp and fresh and the fries were hot and delicious. Interior is definitely dated but worth a stop and I'll be back again.“

Perfect crisp and flavor. $4 Sweet Potato Fries (5/5) - My least favorite but only because I prefer the other options. They are good though. Get all three as a "The Trio" for $9. Would I Return? Rating Yes. This place reminds me of The Habit, but a notch less casual. You feel like you're in a restaurant but it's not stuffy full service. Very lively.“
“Old school burger joint that's been part of Oxnard for a very long time. I used to come here when I was a teenager and only ever got the burger and fries. Now that I'm a little older, I had to try the other items on the menu. Boy was I missing out! The Fried burrito and taquitos with cheese were amazing! Yes they are probably not the healthiest but damn they were so good. It's the type of food that you crave in the middle of the night. Next time I'm getting another fried burrito with chili to go along with my double cheeseburger. Perfect! Oh ya did I mention the prices are insanely fair? Food always taste better when it's light on the wallet haha.“

“Well, another great experience at IHOP. They certainly are my favorite place especially when I am on the road with my family. This particular one was incredibly beautiful inside and out parking easy friendly faces. The food was excellent. It was just another great experience thank you IHOP, handicap parking and access. “I really like soft serve ice cream, although there is nothing really wrong with " hard" ice cream. I like soft ice cream so much I will scoop it out of the container and microwave it for 15 or 20 seconds to soften it up.There was a place to sit outdoors on the side of the shop, BUT it was a hangout area for the homeless so we only stayed for a minute because we didn't feel safe ( drug use).Parking: It's located near Walmart, so there is plenty of parking.“
“My only true complaint about this Lazy Dog is that it's not closer to where I live. I love Lazy Dog but there's none in the north 818 so if Ive got a craving, I gotta jump on the 101 and drive up to Oxnard.The staff here is always nothing short of wonderful. They're always friendly, helpful, accommodating for a family with 3 small kids, and in the rare instance that there's a delay in the food coming out or a mistake, they're quick to apologize and make good. It's something I wish other restaurants would do as well. It's not hard to do.Food here is good. It's nothing classy, but it's full of fun, flavorful takes on classic restaurant food. I've had several things here and have never been disappointed. My go to, however, is the PB&J bacon burger. Don't let the PB&J turn you away. It's so good! Perfect blend of sweet & savory. I also want to shout out their beers. They're fantastic. They offer a great beer club subscription that, once again if I lived closer to a location, I would sign up for in a heartbeat. If you live close to this location and like their beers, it seems like a no brainer to me to sign up.“
“Amazing food! Friendly service, and a big portion of fresh and tasty food for your dollar. I had to stop by for the 2nd day in a row, after tasting their homemade potato salad and tri tip - the smoker is out in the parking lot, so you know they're making it fresh. The fried catfish is out of this world! I was thinking I should have tried grilled, but once I got a taste, I was grateful I hadn't. Next up, I'll be trying the baby back ribs and trying to choose amongst the many mouth-watering sides.“

I usually have gone around lunch time just before 10 am so anything after that time I can’t much speak for but when I have gone the food is always fresh and the service is friendly.
