“Haven't been to the restaurant, but it's my go to place for Lumpia when a craving hits and I want it now vs ordering a day in advance from my favorite home cook.I typically order the pork lumpia, the pork belly sisig and sometimes the adobo chicken wings. Not a fan of the garlic noodles or rice, not enough garlic flavor for my taste.The restaurant is strictly a grab and go place (they took over the space that used to be Hop Sing's Chinese), and parking can be a challenge as the lot is small and there are multiple businesses in the small strip mall. That's why I typically get it delivered.Another hard working family business to support if you can.”

“I was skeptical because I judged a book by its cover but was blown away by this place. It's so yummy and filling. While the ambiance isn't anything to leave you speechless it does add character to KeunJib. I've been to some very nice looking places that have served some pretty terrible food so trust me on this that they may be attached to a bowling alley but do not sleep on this place. I ordered the bibimbap with beef and it was over flowing with fresh veggies, a fried egg and beef. They also use the purple rice which most Korean places around here just use regular white rice which I find a let down. I also had the tofu soup and it was delicious and perfect for a cold rainy day. It came with all the side dishes which were tasty. I am looking forward to coming back.”

“It’s a small family business and they try hard. Everything is homemade and it’s made in the store before your eyes. we are thinking about a huge selection of pastry, some of them with some of them savory but all good. Free, huge parking lot, safe neighborhood.”

“I had the polenta with prawns and crispy cauliflower. It was delicious. The crispy cauliflower was really good dipped in the garlic aioli that came with the lamb burger sliders which my sister in law thought were good. My brother got the short ribs which looked delicious and I will order it next time. My brother said they tasted great. Sadly he doesn't like to share.”

“George's is our favorite hamburger spot. The burgers are delicious and John, the owner, is always super friendly. He always goes out if his way to say hi to my daughter and gives her yummy ice cream treats.”

“I took two friends to Reve to celebrate their birthdays, and we had a relaxing and delicious meal! The atmosphere in the outdoor heated garden tent was inviting and charming, and our waiter Joel was welcoming and gracious. We all enjoyed our starters of courgeres and pomme frites, and the Reve salad was delicious. The entrees of petrale sole and scallops were also delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts of chocolate mousse and lemon tart with birthday candles were a delightful finale. I'm looking forward to returning for another wonderful dinner! So nice to have such a great restaurant in Lafayette.”

“The tastiest noodle soup I have ever had. I love ramen, pho, Thai soups and this place is the best. I can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely be a regular. I got a front row seat, watching the chefs pull the noodles, while I ate my delicious spicy wontons and beef bone broth soup. There are 5 noodle sizes to choose from, to customize your soup, from angel hair to wide. Delicious.”

“Best Burmese restaurant in the Bay Area in my opinion. The restaurant is so clean and service is superb. Coconut chicken noodle soup had layers of flavors and the whole tilapia dish topped with green mango relish was just refreshing. Can’t wait till the next visit!”

Prices are great, food is delicious, and options for all. We are vegan, and have a vegan menu and they are so accommodating. “Hole in the wall Thai restaurant. Traditional flavors that hit all the right notes. I've been to tons of Thai restaurants all over the United States and this place is by far one of the greatest of all time. Reasonably priced and dishes pack a huge punch. Don't let the decor or location fool you, this place is worth checking out. I've been here twice in the past 2 weeks lol. Servers are always nice and food comes out PIPING HOT. Pro tip, ask for dishes spicier if you can hang and ask for with the spice rack to add an extra kick!”

“We loved everything about VA de Vi. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The small plates menu offers a good range of dishes, from appetizers to veggies, pasta, risotto, meat, and fish. We shared the cheese plate, beet salad, tuna sashimi, roasted mushrooms, black cod, and steak. The dessert menu has delicious housemade confections. Beignets, lava cake, blondies, tarte tatin. “Just wow, being from San Diego I have the highest standards for Mexican food. This blew me out of the water! Shrimp is always hit or miss at Mexican restaurants but this was seriously fresh + amazing chips (which they filled up twice for free). Owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great spicy salsas too!”

“A pizza is not just a pizza at this restaurant. It's very different and very good. They call it a pinsa... cloud like pizza. Their description is accurate. It's crispy outside and soft inside... and delicious. We ordered 2 pinsas. One has the same name as the restaurant and was soooooo good, very tasty. We enjoyed both. Their octopus appetizer was one of the best I've ever eaten. Simple preparation that allowed the quality ingredients to shine. The octopus was fresh and tender... not chewy. My spouse loved the grilled exterior of the octopus. I was sorry we did not order 2 of them. Salome our server was wonderful. Her suggestions about the food and wine were spot on. Her only mistake was not suggesting that I order my own octopus appetizer... Still we hope she is our server when we return. Our next time will be for dinner in order to enjoy their full menu.”

“We dropped into Baxter's randomly last night and we're lucky enough to be seated in the speakeasy. This was a side room of the restaurant but also a world away! The atmosphere was amazing, plush, comfortable and yet sleek with a bit of a club feel. Then the food! Not only was it beautiful in presentation but absolutely delicious. My husband had the lamb and practically licked the plate clean he loved it so much. The scallops were also amazing and not over sauced. Both came with mashed potatoes and veggies which at most restaurants aren't that great, Baxter's however made these side dishes equally fresh and appealing. Their bartender knew what he was doing and made some great martinis as well. Overall it was an excellent experience, highly recommended! Usually I'd have to go to SF to get this kind of service, food and atmosphere.”

“Good, solid neighborhood restaurant with Chinese cuisine. The staff were friendly, and provided me with tea and shelled peanuts while I waited for my pick up order. There is a wide selection of items to choose from, and our order of a rice dish, noodle dish, salt/pepper ribs and cucumber salad was very good. I was there on a Saturday night, and even though the restaurant was well attended, my order came out very quickly. I would recommend this this restaurant :)”

“I’ll give it 4.5 stars. It’s a chain sandwich spot. Bread was solid. Sandwich was good and hit the spot, but it’s not earth shattering. Staff was courteous. Come here for a solid sandwich. It feels very corporate-sandwich-shop-ish inside so I ate and left. I was wondering how this place earned 4.9 stars and found the note on the tables where they offer a free gift for a review. I am personally not a fan of that, so I wanted to share. Overall a solid chain sandwich spot.”
