Cute wine bar in Rockaway. Ordered a house wine and was so pleasantly pleased it wasn't your typical chardonnay or reisling but instead a lovely German wine worth excellent notes. Purchased a bottle of it. So in and be surprised. You will enjoy it.
I love this place so much, I even had my 40th birthday here (and my friends got me a baked brie instead of cake because they know what I like!). They have a wonderful wine selection, there's always something new and interesting to try. And the food is delightful, especially their famous aforementioned baked brie and their marcona almonds with lavender sugar. Yum. My friend and I stumbled upon Grape in the Fog at the end of an incredible California road trip. The ambiance is amazing, wonderful wine and delicious food. We shared the meatballs and the hummus plate and both were fabulous. We finished with the waffle with strawberries and vanilla whip cream and a trio of cheesecakes (lime, coconut and pineapple). I highly recommend stopping in to this cozy wine bar.
