“Honestly this place is so delicious!! When you walk in you can see why. The kitchen is small but visibly clean and organized and they are cooking your food FRESH. The spices are also delightful—they use just the right amount—and all the meat is so tender. The owner answers the phone and is really polite, which makes this delicious experience even better. Our go-to for family Thai and Curry!“
“Authentic Thai Cuisine in Half Moon Bay in the Strawflower Shopping Center from the talented Chef formerly of Spice Me. My review is for takeout, the service was friendly and helpful in selecting the level of spice to the Basil Chicken. The Pineapple Fried Rice with Prawns was the perfect accompaniment to the Spicy Basil Chicken. The Shui Mai were served with a delicious dipping sauce, we also enjoyed the Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls and the Baked Pork Bun. All items were packaged separately with the dipping sauces. There are tables if you choose to dine in.“
“Loved our dinner at Nute’s! The gyoza appetizer was incredible, and all the noodle dishes were delicious. The waiter was fast, attentive, and honestly impressive to watch given he was the only waiter. We felt like we were back in Japan with the small tables, paper lanterns, and cozy vibe. Only thing to know is the wait was quite long due to the limited seating- next time we’ll put our name on their list (paper, not yelp) and then get a drink somewhere. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other noodles!“
“This clean simple Thai restaurant has a nice lunch special that includes soup, spring rolls and a main dish. I had the Panang curry dish with tofu and another day I had the pumpkin curry and it was divine. I waddled out full with a toothpick in my mouth.“
“Incredible massaman curry! It's absolutely delicious. The meat was fall apart tender, the potatoes were perfectly cooked, the rice was perfect and not at all dry. The flavors and spice were absolutely on point. I can't wait to eat it again!!“
“One of our favorite Thai restaurants! They have the best Tom Ka Gai soup. The Pad See Ew is super flavorful, we always get the vegetarian option. Yellow curry is great too. They have a nice rice plate lunch special too. Nice atmosphere, good service, and super clean and easy parking.“
“Just had the Kha Soi, Mushroom Salad and Coconut Balls. It's rare to find Northen Thai staples like Kha Soi in San Francisco, its flavor dense and complex. I believe it's their specialty. It paired well with the Mushroom Salad. The coconut balls were the perfect finish to our meal. We'll be back.“
“We stopped by on Sunday per the recommendation of a friend. The food is delicious and cheap! The staff are also nice and had a huge variety of food available in addition to the menu. I had the beef noodle soup and it was refreshing with the stock! It was definitely enough for one person and the Pandanus dessert afterward just made the meal perfect. My friend's pork noodle soup and Thai tea was excellent as well. We will definitely come again.“
“I went here with my friend around Tuesday at noon and this place was packed! There was only one poor guy manning the entire front and he was definitely overwhelmed. This definitely echoed my experience when I went to White Elephant Thai restaurant (see my review and as this is a sister restaurant, I can't say that I'm surprised. I do feel bad for the servwe as he was waiting on tables, taking orders, and also preparing orders for delivery services too! When it comes to the food, it was definitely great that it was the sister restaurant of White Elephant because the quality, great portion sizes, and authentic flavor is all still there! We ordered the crab fried rice, pad see ew with beef, pad Thai with chicken, and another pad Thai with beef (we were planning dinner to go too hehe). The food came out pretty quick and had tons of flavor. Loved the quality and portions of the food here. As for ambiance, the restaurant is pretty small and has some cool murals on the two main walls. It was pretty packed and people were even waiting outside during this prime weekday lunchtime. As for parking, there is street parking so could be hit or miss! Overall, will definitely come back but would suggest more help for the staff in the front for better efficiency!“
“Champa Gardens on Faxon st off Ocean Avenue, unassuming Thai restaurant with a black entrance door.Inside simply decorated, bench seating tables around two walls and other tables with chairs, bar with some stools on the right, for some unknown reason only one other table occupied that day.Service is fair with no frill. The food is good, well prepared and plentiful, there were four of us, we all picked a different dish and shared. We ordered the Champa sampler, Mango paradise, lad Na noodles, and chicken dish cooked in a red spicy sauce served with haricot vert( al denté)All that food was prepared and served to us within less than 10 minutes. The sampler served with lettuce leaves, with which you make a container to fill with spiced sausages morcel, eggroll and delicious fried rice, that was a meal in itself,Next Mango paradise delicious tender prawn with tangy and sweet mango in a red sauce,Pad kea mow with pork, somewhat a soupy dish served with steamed broccoli, good but not my favorite, last we had that chicken dish in a red spicy sauce served with haricot vert, all good, we ordered also two small bowl of steamed rice, all in all four very delectable dishes for about $75 (before tip) not bad for San Francisco. We will go back and try other dishes.Parking: On Faxon pass the restaurant street parking“
“We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it never fails to impress. The delicious Thai cuisine is a culinary delight, and the staff's kindness enhances the overall experience. The yellow curry is my absolute favorite – a flavorful masterpiece. Five stars without a doubt!“
“Hidden takeout spot inside a spacious Dogpatch building. Loved the larb tofu, the flavors, the crispiness. The broccoli was okay, a bit bitter, almost as if the seasoning was slightly burnt. The curry was very oily, but very delicious. Portions are on the small side, but the low prices reflect that. The person we picked up the food from was very friendly. The menu is limited, but if you're looking for some simple Thai food and flavors, some is better than nothing!“
“Always fresh food here! Thai comfort food will make you feel warm and happy!!! The curries are really great. You'll be a regular customer after your first visit.Vegetarian options: We love all of the curry selections, vegetarians will like the yellow curry.“
“Unique Thai restaurant with funky decorations but found the food a bit underwhelming for the price. Tried the motherland curry with tofu and crispy rice salad. Both were good but not great. I liked the flavors in the red curry but I think there's other Thai restaurants in SF with better value for the price. The menu has only a few options for entrees and they were out of vermicelli noodles for the motherland curry so we opted to try it with rice instead. However, the service was great and our food came out quickly.“
“Came here straight from the SFO airport around 9.15pm as almost all (Asian) restaurants were closed at 8 or 8.30pm.Food and service was great. We had garlic prawns, tom yum, fried chicken over fried rice, sticky rice mango and thai iced tea.We left with happy tummy.“
“Chicken Rice ($14.75) poached chicken, rice, steamed greens, kmg sauce, ginger scallion sauce, & chicken soup: My second time having this! Love that they give both chicken breast and chicken thigh. I love chicken thigh so I always eat the breast first haha I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the greens, I prefer eating it with no sauce. The rice is super flavorful and they cook it using the chicken fat. It's a super hearty bowl and super filling!“
“The first time I actually liked Brussels sprouts so much that I went back for more! Our food was warm and bursting with flavor. It's making me salivate just thinking about it.The lighting was a bit low, but it actually added to the cozy feel. The place was well-decorated, and the crooked paintings with fake cobwebs for Halloween made me laugh. Our server was diligent and friendly, bringing our food in a timely manner.“
“I like this place a lot and I'm glad there's another Asian option in the neighborhood (south East Asian of my exact). I've had a few dishes and would like to try a few more. My only critique so far is that the meat could have cleaner cuts (there are big chunks of meat along with small cuts of meat) because it ruins the texture and makes the dish inconsistent.“
“We love this restaurant! This is one of the only places in town that does a good mussamun curry with a choice of protein. Most places require you to order it with beef, but Siam Spoon lets you pick any protein! I've had it with tofu, and my partner has had it with chicken, both are great. The Thai samosa appetizer is delicious. I've also enjoyed all of their various noodle dishes. They are consistently fantastic.“
“Best pumpkin curry I've ever had. The kabocha was cooked perfectly. Service was fast and friendly. A very enjoyable experience.Vegetarian options: I had pumpkin curry but both daughters are vegetarian and were very happy with the selection. It was all delicious.“
“3.5 starsGood food for the price. It's family style, large dish portions. Don't expect fully authentic but something close to it. The service is quick but unprofessional. Bathrooms are not well maintained (dirty, no paper towels, dirty paper towels all over the floor).“
“One of my favorite restaurants. All the dishes that I have tried so far are delicious. The Tom Yum soup is delicious and the size is big, it can serve 4 people. Tofu pad thai was delicious. The French toast with banana ais soo good. Can't go wrong with the steak and eggs, also the chicken and waffles.“
“I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the venue was undoubtedly the reason for that successful gathering. The stuff cooperated in a splendid manner, the meals were yummy and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall no dout come back again for more events. Thank you very much.“
“We ordered takeout from them and the food was amazing. The turn on time was so fast when we got there we didn’t even have to wait, there is a lot of people in there enjoying their time and the place is beautiful. Next time I’ll try dining in.“
“The Tom Yum soup was tasty. Very good broth. The Tom Yum with noodles was a bit sweet for my palette and not spicy but tasted good too. The soup is big enough for 2 people and sits on a hot plate in the center of the table so it never gets “
“Look, I'll start this off by saying this place has the most delicious Thai food. It is by far my favorite place. But this is even a hesitant 4 star because of their recent portion sizes. For $15 you get a small container of pad Thai that is 1/2 beansprouts, or you get these half filled containers of curry. Whatever size container you're going to use, please fill it entirely.“
“This food is delicious and vegan friendly! And they're so nice and are actually Thai! Sweet basil tofu was had nice basil flavor. The spicy fried rice was soooo good (our favorite) and not that spicy. We also got the mushroom soup and it came in a cute dish. Their presentation of the food is always really pretty. Not that many people inside but has a nice cozy feeling“
“Def one of my favorite Thai spot. I normally get their panang curry or pad see ew. Today I got to catch up with my brotha, so we got papaya salad also. The service was quick and the vibes were nice, they have TVs there for you to watch. Chopped it up and enjoyed the night.Don’t forget your day ones.Ig@blacktigereats“
“Great place, amazing vibes. A nice family owned restaurant, the service and food was brilliant. We ordered hot and sour soup, veg pad kee maw (not on menu), chicken wings, fried ice cream - out of the world, Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee. Will come back for sure. Do try their chilli oil, it's incredible. The people that run the place are the nicest!“
