“Food is amazing! My husband and I arrived in LA earlier today. Driving to Lancaster and was looking for a good place to eat. After searching the internet and checking reviews we decide on La Cocinita. The food was fabulous! We shared the pozole and the carnitas Huarache. Very authentic and very delicious. Atmosphere ncould better but staff was super friendly. Would highly recommend!“

La Tapatia Grill Seafood •
10325 Glenoaks Blvd, Pacoima

“Today I drove out to Pacoima for some shrimp cocktails. When I seen the size of these cocktails for $10 it was all worth it. I have been told they're the best they have the most shrimp and they taste extremely well good. It's about 20 minutes from Pasadena at the Osborne exit to foothill to Glenoaks. It's there every day from the morning to 2 PM. Give it a try you will know it's worth the drive and definitely more than Worth the money.“

Casa Jalisco Restaurant Mexican • $
10062 San Fernando Rd, Pacoima

“Food was surprisingly good, I hate to judge a book by its cover but this restaurant is in a sketchy street where the other Side of the street is filled broken down rv’s. Aside from that your presented with chips and home made salsa which has a very good taste. Friend and I ordered fish tacos ( which had very great taste) lemon on the side which were really dry btw, but tacos came with hand made tortillas which was a plus. Also ordered ceviche de pescado a little salty but the tapatío fixed that quick. Ordered ceviche mixto and that was made well.Overall I would go again and have dinner or lunch.Lastly!!! Bring cash, no cards accepted.“

“Three food is good and so is the service. They have a great selection of Mexican seafood at reasonable prices. They recently stopped taking orders at the table. You'll have to place your order and pay before receiving your meal. No longer a full service restaurant.“

“For Hawaiian fusion it’s pretty good, with some unexpected items such as the potatos bravas stealing the show. Some other items were less impressive, with the filet mignon in particular, despite being very tender, too out of character for this place. Warm French toast for dessert is a bit fun with banana bread and cocoa chips.Service was superb and cocktail game is strong. Parking is valet or hope you get lucky in the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Some decent options for vegetarians.Parking: It’s a busy business area, quite a few streets nearby are permit only, so odds are good the valet is the best option.“

“The service was top notch, all of our servers were informative about the food and friendly. The atmosphere is dark line and good speakeasy should be with a live instrumental trio, but you could still hold a conversation with your date without yelling. The food was uneven, the starters (buns and tiger prawns) were incredible, the dessert (cookies and cream) was surprisingly full of flavor and delicious. The wagyu steak was good but not melt in your mouth amazing, which is what I want when I get a steak at a restaurant. The pork belly was the most bland item we had, but my husband still enjoyed eating it. Overall a great place for drinks and small bites.“
