My friend and I stopped at Bobby Mao's in Galleria Mall for appetizers and drinks. The bartender, Brian, was fabulous. Our appetizers and drinks were really good and it was happy hour, which made it even better. Came here last week for a quick business meeting. Was pleasantly surprised that they had a small stage with an entertainer singing to tracks. Great vocalist and super nice guy. Being in the entertainment industry myself, it was very refreshing to know you can still find live entertainment somewhere... Especially since both of my shows are on lock down. Taco Tuesday! BOGO on taco items. I opted for the simple street tacos with carne asada. They were served 2 to a plate with a special sauce. My date had the chicken pineapple tacos. Everything was good and tasted fresh. The free salsa needed salt, but it was perfect. Nothing too spicy. Mango margaritas were excellent and only $5 on Tuesday.
