Looking for a lighter lunch in the high heat of summer we made our way over to Firehouse. We'd never eaten at a FS, so we were curious to see what they were all about. It was great to see that they have gluten-free bread! They do not take precautions for those with allergies though. We asked them to just be careful and use a clean knife to cut it (didn't have any reaction later on). There is no better sandwich to be had than at Firehouse. Take your pick from the regulars or combos you won't find anywhere else, and you'll get the freshest, juiciest, tastiest sandwich you've ever had. Drop the onion, double the cheese, and try a garlic bread roll!Give it a try for yourself...

This location was surrounded by lots of other fast food places, including Jersey Mike's and Subway. It takes a bit of navigating to get to Firehouse Subs from the freeway. The subs are great! I got the pepperoni meatball pizza sub and my wife got the New York Steamer sub. Note, to use their bathrooms you need to ask for a key to unlock the door.
