“Eat here if you can, it's superb start to finish, but be aware that you have to obtain your reservation at 12:01am exactly thirty days before you want to dine. (They do also accommodate some walk-ins if you show up at 4:35pm on the day you want to eat.). Everything is first rate and beautiful.“
“Had the spicy mango monitor and it was excellent. So smooth and just the right amount of sweet. The chef's special Spiced Indian Chicken which was super delicious. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive and the quality of the experience overall was great.“
“We had a beautiful mid morning breakfast at The Farm. It's on par with the best that Palm Springs has to offer. Go early, we got there at about 8:40am and were seated right away. It is first come first served, and filled up quickly.Breakfast was divine, and they offer many very good menu options. We were guests of friends, but the prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the food was spot on.Get up early, and try this Palm Springs Breakfast gem.“
“I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco and my wife had the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with Shrimp. Both meals were excellent, as was the service from our server Scott. We’ve been to this restaurant many time and every time have been very happy with the food, the service and the vibe. Great people watching too! We highly recommend this restaurant.“
“We went to the Purple Room for the first time last night. Great experience! It's a bit hidden and in a weird location but once through the doors, really nice. Entertainment was fun! Great service all night long. The food was average- nothing to get super excited about but also nothing wrong with it...“
“Copley's has been on our list to dine and it was a lovely evening. We ordered the bread sampler which included the most delicious homemade cornbread and rosemary garlic rolls with truffle butter. We also ordered the prosciutto, melon and burrata salad which was very flavorful. Our main courses were two specials of the day - short rib which is a must order, sea bass, and then the asian spiced barramundi. All dishes were fantastic and we finished with the chocolate soufflé and the toffee and date English sticky pudding. Our server, Lonnie, was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed dining under the stars.“
“We were a group of 5 and walked in. We were seated at a booth, promptly asked for our beverage order, and food order. The food came out quickly which was a pleasant surprise considering how busy it was. The hash browns were so good and the pancakes delicious!!! A must visit!“
“Always a treat in Palm Springs! The service is great from the valet on. Love the food and great cocktails. The service is excellent, coincidentally, we often have the same waiter which means their staff isn't turning over all the time, so they are very experienced and knowledgeable. Highly recommend“
“We had a great meal and enjoyed the beautiful setting. The menu is not fussy, I had an amazing burger and my husband enjoyed the chicken mole. The hummus was great too-though the server forgot to put the order in and it came with our entrees. The staff more than made up for it by comping the hummus and a round of drinks. The garden is beautiful—feels like you dining in Napa rather than Palm Springs. Highly recommend.“
“Overall like this place. The outdoor seating is nicer but too cold on our night. The pear salad was terrific, best thing we had. Entrees of spaghetti, a bit too rich, sea bass a little dry, carrots fantastic and bock choy bland and overcooked, chile relleno a bit bland. My drink was great. Decent but not exceptional but not worth the price tag.“
“This was our first visit to Palm Springs, and Cheeky's was absolutely excellent! We decided to stop here during our first morning in town, and it served as our last breakfast before our flight home. We're definitely planning to return on our next trip!“
“Lovely staff, food was above average. So nice to not only be able to take our dog for lunch, but to also be able to order him lunch off the dog menu. Limited options for the doggos and kinda pricy for what you get but well worth a visit. My dog Nemo didn’t care - he gave them 5/5 stars!!“
“Where to start! The owner: Witty, gracious, in it up to his eyeballs. Atmosphere: Dark wood, no windows, east coast neighborhood bar vibe. Keep it smallish and charming, just as it is. And keep us waiting in line (for our own good.) Staff: Service was a ten from everyone encountered. Courteous, friendly and, they hustled! We scored bar seating and was fun to watch them. They were like a choreographed musical back there! The food & drinks were slinging and they kept it flowing effortlessly. Thanks Paul & Staff for a lovely experience.“
“We love John's!! Great food, always hot (when it's supposed to be!)! One suggestion...having menus at the table! Hard to read the boards when it's at all crowded. Their burgers are delicious and we've really enjoyed their breakfast options... available anytime.“
“Rooster and the Pig provides an incomparable experience. The service was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and, most importantly, the food was amazing. After reading multiple reviews for other restaurants in the area, we were skeptical that Palm Springs had anything worth eating. The amazing concierge at our hotel recommended RATP, however, and it did not disappoint. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees: the fennel rolls, braised Daikon, beef nopes, and pork noodles with lemongrass. My partner also had two beers, while I enjoyed two cocktails. The medley of flavors in the food were obviously above and beyond, but the cocktails too had a blend of interesting profiles that were clearly well thought out.The entire experience was delightful and I highly recommend a visit.“
“The primerib & sides were really delicious. The seafood mixed grill was 50/50. The lobster & shrimp had good flavor but they were so tough and rubbery. They could bounce. The scallops were perfection and so was the pasta & sauce. The molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream and berries was definitely sharable. They also had no.problem making up some cocktails that actually tasted great.“
“How do you spell perfection? Lox Benedict at Thirsty Palms! Finely created artisan craftsmanship, beautifully presented and expertly prepared with egg yolks that flow gently over the layers of lox, thinly sliced red onion, and delicate green arugula. Capers are scattered on top in a bow to the lox. Hollandaise is exactly right, delicious and creamy.Side greens are dressed with a light dressing that has just a touch of tang which enhances but doesn’t distract from the Benedict star of the show.Service needs guidance. Smiles and genuine interest would be helpful. As a Benedict fan, this so far outclasses the several other restaurants I’ve tried here, even the ones with long lines waiting.Outdoor setting is pleasant, the inside is charming. Everything is meticulously bright and sparkling clean.“
“We really enjoyed this place. First rate food and service. Our server kindly let us know that the two small plates were more than sufficient and didn’t try to upsell us on food we did not need. Highly appreciated a recognized in his gratuity. We will visit again next time we are in Palm Springs. By the way the beverages were also terrific!“
“Our reservation was honored as soon as we arrived. The service was excellent and so was the food. We were seated outdoors in the patio but the plastic chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The patio is a little crowded as well. Otherwise, it was a good experience,“
“We flew into Palm Springs. After a long flight, this restaurant did not disappoint. The pork chops with rosemary breading were great. The fries are also great. We did come straight after many were leaving services for Palm Sunday but that wasn't an issue in terms of crowding.Service was fast. Definitely would recommend to family or friend. And the coy pond was a neat touch.“
“Escena was a great visit! My wife and I had the opportunity to play a round there. When trying to book the day before using the online system, I had some issues. I called and Deb was able to help so quickly. She was really nice, and made the trip more memorable! The breakfast was great, one of the better breakfast burritos I’ve had. Overall, great experience. I’d come back just cuz of Deb!“
“So nice to find delicious vegan food in Palm springs !! Had the breakfast platter with French toast and vegan biscuits and gravy plus oat milk in my delicious coffee. Lovely staff delicious food thank you for providing vegan fare in paradise :))“
“We are permanent Palm Springs residents who frequently dine at Zin. The last two occasions we have had issues with the host. Unfortunately, it is very off-putting to have to deal with him and his attitude the minute we walk into the restaurant. Our server was not the most attentive, but other than that we always enjoy our experience at Zin!“
“Absolutely delicious! We went to Bongo Johnny’s for the first time, and we will definitely be going back! The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was so tasty! It is funny but the atmosphere seems very casual, but the food is something you would expect from a fine dining experience. Thankfully the prices were pretty reasonable! And to top it all off, the music was the best! When we were there they were playing 80s music and we just loved it! Bongo Johnny’s is a must if you haven’t been there yet. You won’t be disappointed!“
“Much appreciation for the help having my special event in there banquet room I had about 35 guests and it was a great space great bartender that was very attentive and great drinks it was the perfect venue for what I needed many thanks highly recommend“
“Everyone liked their food but me. I ordered the pot pie. It was lacking meat but had many potatoes. Gravy a bit thick and the flavor was unremarkable. I didn't complain because I feel that is what it is. But I would not recommend or order again.“
“Day Drinking Delight ?•We stopped here on a trek to have a cocktail at many places. Overall did not disappoint! Menu was large and included foods, view from the roof top patio was beautiful and the drinks were pretty good as well. LA Water is the green one; very Long Island-esque. The mule was the other choice we had and it was a mule! Hard to go wrong and never disappoints. When we come back and have more time, this will be on the list of repeats so we can enjoy that California open air vibe!“
“Just walked in off the street (no reservations) at maybe 6 PM to grab some dinner. I was damned near giddy just walking in the door. It wasn't crowded or loud like so many other Palm Springs locations. My wife and I were able to relax at our table and have a conversation. Our server was top notch. He was friendly, knowledgable, attentive... I just don't have a bad word to say about him.As for the food? My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I wasn't that impressed with my meal, but I concede I ordered something I normally wouldn't as a culinary experiment so it's probable that it was done very well and the dish just wasn't my thing. I say "probable" because everything else was spectacular (soup, appetizers, etc.). Especially the plantains. Oh, those were amazing.Cost? I honestly don't remember what we paid so it must have been reasonable 'cause I would remember it if I had any sort of sticker shock.Bottom line? I absolutely will be back.“
“Good bites in this small hotel restaurant. We had lunch and breakfast all very good. Service is a bit slow but good. The tuna tartar and filet mignon tacos were great. Good cocktails and beer. The breakfast was simple but yummy. Great eggs and French toast. The coffee was “
“This is my new fave restaurant in Palm Springs & the whole desert... Great value for the outstanding quality of the food. Amazing ambiance & excellent, attentive & knowledgeable service. Beautiful night even though the weather was not the best that evening.... The restaurant was not adversely affected. GO, even if not staying the the adjacent hotel!“
“Ambiance is great. Love the decor. I was disappointed this time though. Service was slow and then at the end it seemed we were being rushed out. My stuff poblano was delicious but the yuca fries were rock hard and the pollo blanco was exceptionally dry. Disappointing given I had a great experience last year.“
“I used to eat John Henry's at least twice a year...when my folks were alive. I miss it very much now that I am stuck in Omaha!!! Great crab cakes and rack of lamb. I now always eat carrots!Parking: Thank goodness for handicapped parking on the side.“
“Portions are huge! Came here a few times on our recent stay in the desert and enjoyed breakfest and lunch a few times. Monte Cristo sandwich was the size of the entire Togo box...lol. the brisket french dip was suoer tasty. Don't sleep on the desserts behind the counter, take one to go and enjoy later ?“
“My server was Precious and she did a great job. She made my dad (who suffers from Dementia) and myself very comfortable. Food was good and coffee was good. If I'm in the area, I'll be coming back because of the food and coffee but especially the “
“Great experience overall. Service was excellent! After COVID, we have really struggled to find restaurants that offer great service—Melyns hit the mark. Our steaks (one ordered medium, one ordered medium rare) were switched but it all worked out. Martinis were delicious! Made my husband's birthday extra special.“
“I don’t think I’ve ever been more satisfied leaving a restaurant! Atmosphere, food, and service were all incredible. Our server made excellent recommendations and was very nice. It was perfect! I went with a friend and she was just as impressed.“
“We chose 4saints on a whim on the last night of our mini-moon, and WOW did it deliver. Excellent cocktails, and the food was creative yet familiar. The octopus was excellent, as was the sea bass. Will absolutely dine here again. It's a hotel restaurant as it's on the roof of the Kimpton Rowan, so priced accordingly, but it's delicious. The patio was so romantic with beautiful views of Palm Springs. They even brought me a blanket when it got a bit chilly!“
“It's almost impossible to go to brunch or lunch in Palm Springs this time of year without a looong wait. There is never a wait at Bit of Country..not because the food isn't absolutely delish but ok, the decor is 1985 lower East Side NYC diner grubby chic. The best, perfectly cooked omelettes and potatoes, oh and the biscuits! So go, grab a booth or place at the counter and enjoy a big, home cooked meal, without the long wait.“
“We visited Wilma & Frieda's the first morning we were in Palm Springs. They did such a great job, we decided to try to eat our way through the menu and returned every morning of our stay. I make my own homemade biscuits and am usually disappointed by biscuits in a restaurant, but theirs are outstanding! They are served with house made jam that really tops them off. Over the four days, we had the meat loaf and eggs, two different scrambles, JR's short rim and mozzarella scramble and a couple of other dishes that don't come to mind right now. They have outdoor seating or you can choose a nice intimate booth inside. Service was just great, as good as being in a fine dining restaurant. They're currently open for only breakfast and lunch, but anything on the menu is delicious!“
“Sad I figured out this place had great breakfast so late in my trip. They had me at Waffle Benedict ? The inside dining atmosphere is what you would expect for a hotel restaurant, but outside is way better. The staff is friendly and many of them have been working there for years!“
“We went to the Palm Springs Air Museum and decided to eat lunch there since it was so convenient. It was really cool, the table was under the wing of a plane which was something we had not done before. Our lunch was good and the service was very nice. We had the Rueben sandwich and it was really tasty!“
“Selected this property for a short stay in the desert. I had seen mixed reviews since COVID but my personal experience was very positive. Received an incredibly warm welcome from Luke at the Front Desk. He could not have been more gracious and helpful. He even walked us to our room [#302]. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member I was very grateful that my suite upgrade request had cleared. The room was spacious and well laid out. There was a queen bed and a separate sofabed [no mention of this on the website though]. Two negatives included a lot of noise from the outside street [Indian Canyon Drive is a very busy road] also the bathroom really smelled whenever we took a shower.. the drains clearly need to be cleaned out. Everything else was great though...location is awesome...pools are really nice. One piece of advice...the cost of parking is not worth it...we parked on the surrounding streets. Recommend you do the same.“
“My husband and I celebrated our shared birthday at Farm. We sat outside in the heated courtyard which was a lovely setting. There was live music which was quite relaxing and on point for the atmosphere. Our starters were off the charts delicious; I had the mushroom soup and he had the citrus salad. We also enjoyed the salmon and Wagyu steak entrees. There was a nice assortment of wines by the glass; prices were not crazy expensive. The only thing that was a bit “meh” was dessert, the cheesecake and chocolate option. It was solid, but nothing stellar. Service was great. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and both had a wonderful birthday. Thank you to the Farm staff!“
