Delicious food outweighed by horrid service. I wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars based on the food but our experience was simply awful. Everyone in our party loved their meal. Two entrees cooked improperly were replaced. Dessert was ordered but never arrived. Wait staff was pleasant but inattentive.
We lived everything about this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Portions may be smaller, although ficus is on presentation, quality, and impressions. All staff are passionate about food. If I return to Palm Springs, we will certainly go back. We chose a booth. The terrace could use some work to improve the ambiance.

I was expecting to be underwhelmed by workshop kitchen given my last experience there and its reputation over the last 10 yrs of style over substance at high price points. But when in PS there aren’t a lot of options for fine dining so I gave it another try…and enjoyed the food.
