As soon as I walked in, I was greeted nicely and took a look at the menu. I ordered the chimichanga (carnitas) and the mole enchiladas. The food was amazing and the salsa bar had a nice selection of salsa (from mild to hot). Yesenia was very quick on the register and the place was nice and clean. Thank you for the fast and friendly service. Remember that they only accept cash!
I work in Palo Alto just a few blocks away. I often find myself short of time looking for a quick, relatively healthy, good bite to eat. Sanchez has proven to be a strong workhorse offering great food and great service. The owner is there every day working hard alongside his employees and he has just refreshed the restaurant with new tile finishes. The food is solid, tasty and fresh. The service is always friendly. I can't rate the food but the menu looked good. Couldn't purchase anything because they only accept cash. Pretty shocking that in Palo Alto and in 2023 a restaurant won't take a credit card or a debit card. Maybe one day I can try the food and review the food portion but I got to give them a low score for having such outdated purchasing abilities.
