Whole Foods is located centrally in downtown Palo Alto and the main part of this review is focused on their to go foods. The selection of to go foods is excellent - from handmade tacos to salad and protein shakes. You can find it all here. The service is generally friendly and helpful and the check out line moves quickly.
Have you ever wondered why when you park in the angled spaces at this particular location, it feels safer than when you park in the 90 degree spots? That’s because the angled spaces have an extra half foot of space and are code compliant for this century, while other parts of the lot, were grandfathered in at older Palo Alto Code standards during the late 20th century. Our concert got cancelled but we still needed some food when we got back to the hotel. I had an awesome roast beef and blue cheese sandwich.The chicken dinner with pasta salad and grilled beets met my wife’s palate perfectly.The sunrise smoothie and Brussel sprouts were awesome too. We need a Whole Foods in Modesto.
