Very sad they closed permanently after struggling to find a new owner, finding one and staying open for a few more years, and now hit by pandemic. Sandwiches are great pandemic food in my opinion so maybe the tucked away location hurt this business. I'm going to miss the original spread the most and the fantastic Dutch Crunch. I love the custom sandwiches from here. The service is nice, but it can get crowded and hectic on a weekday when the Palo Alto High School students begin to swarm Town and Country and make it a confusing mess.

This deli used to be superb; now its just another deli sandwich shop. We stopped by to see what they offered and nothing special. its now just one of 100s of other lunch restaurants.
