Friday 12/1/23 Lunch at Pika Tortas Ahogadas Restaurant in Paramount with my colleague Erwin. Erwin took me to this Mexican restaurant to try out their Mexican tortas, beef, tacos, and Mexican flan! The authentic Mexican foods from Guadalajara Jalisco were savory and unique. Some items on the menu are better than others.... the green sauce for the chilaquiles was way too watery so instead of just getting soft, the chips completely turned to mush. I asked for my eggs cooked all the way through (over hard) but they were still runny. The chicken looked a little weird and didn't taste very fresh. I've tried carne in su jugo other times and that is good.
