My mom found out this place that has been here for 5 years! It is amazing! The staff is dedicated, helpful, generous, and thoughtful. But, the food is even better! I have never had better fried chicken (juicy, crisp on the outside, light and flavorful batter). It is kettle fried in small batches so prepare to wait ~7 to 10 min because it is also made to order. Had a great meal here. Saw the place on tv and had to stop in while visiting the L.A. area. Was greeted upon entering the restaurant. The cashier asked if I had been there before and I expressed I had not. He briedly went over the menu and his favorites. I went for the popular chicken poboy!!! Food arrived timely. Looked great. Such a cute little mom and pop shop.Super nice staff that are super helpful.The macaroni and cheese is amazing. Jalapeno in the crust. So it has a little kick to it. But no too much. The 3 mac and cheese squares look super small but they are super fulfilling.And for dessert we got a fresh baked apple pieOmg that was amazing.Will definitely be back here.
