Read the Yelps and got take out. Recommendations from other Yelpers were War Won Ton Soup and dry Sautéed green beans. We needed one more item so asked the person on the phone what they recommend. Combination Kung Pow! It was amazing! Fresh red bell peppers enveloped into a spicy peanut sauce with chicken beef and shrimp! Yum Yum Yum! It's so crazy this place. The menus are falling apart, there is one guy working in flip flops at the front, the tables are filthy, white pepper always empty, a guy who looks like he is the dishwasher taking orders and it's always empty but my son and I keep coming back and order the same thing every time and it's great. One small hot and sour soup one small wonton soup, the house fish fillet and rice. Always good. I wouldn't want to look in the kitchen though!

The Grandview Palace is situated in lower Lake Ave. in Pasadena. It's rooftop seating boasts a surprising mountain view. There are plenty of shades that can be lowered on a sunny day. The grilled cheese dipper was an explosion of flavor with the perfect crunch to accompany the bisque for dipping. I've dined there a few times and the great service makes for a consistently pleasant experience.
