Just discovered this gem last week. Delicious option compared to traveling to Langer's, Brent's, or Arts' deli. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and I was especially moved by family's story of perseverance after father and "Sandwich Artist" Stephen E Fink passed away from Amyloidosis in 2010. My father passed from the same disease in 2023. Like Stephen, my father was athletic, healthy, and hard working before Amyloidosis. Visiting Pasadena for the weekend and was looking for a deli sandwich so decided to try Pasadena Sandwich Company based off their menu/reviews - it ended up being one of the best decisions of the weekend! Tried the Del Mar sandwich (roast beef, turkey, ham, jack cheese, lettuce/tomato, Russian dressing, Kaiser roll) and it was fantastic! Great sandwich place, old school, impressed.I had the Virginian (pastrami/turkey on rye). Fresh bread, very good meats and generous serving.For $5, you can add a very small serving of potato or macaroni salad and a medium drink. The potato salad was a little dry and tasteless. Free drink refills.Parking is limited, and the available dining area is small, but OK, if you arrive after lunch time.Recommended.
