We dropped into Nicora on a recommendation from Gary Irvin. I am so glad we did! Nick’s wines are absolutely amazing. I buy all I can and I have to say, this guy knows how to make wine. I am a big fan of Rhone varietals and nothing this guy makes has disappointed; of course, some are better than others, I am particularly fond of GSM, my wife SGM. The wines are OUTSTANDING! Glenn, Evan and Shea treated us like family from the first impromptu drop in visit to the Tasting Room to the very end of our tasting. It was the most enjoyable tasting I've ever experienced. If you like big, beautiful, elegant 100% Syrahs, or SGMs this boutique winery will not disappoint! Loyal wine club member for ever.

We tasted 4 outstanding 2021 wines. Russell Family Vineyard was 100% syrah, the other 3 were blends of Sarah, Mourvedre and Grenache. All rated 93 to 94 points. Glenn, the Tasting Room manager is extremely well versed on wines from many countries and I'd say an expert on Paso Robles wines. Very happy with our Tasting and thrilled to be Club members!
