“Spectacular. Went for my father's birthday and they had so many nice touches. But more importantly the food is beautiful, creative and exceptionally well executed. I grew up in Nevada County but currently live in Napa. I was so pleased to experience a restaurant in Nevada County that rivals many of the best restaurants in Napa. The service, the family vibe, and everything was just wonderful. Wholeheartedly recommend.”

This coffee spot is a gem as everything they have is such high quality and the owners and all the staff are some of the best people I have met. I love their light roast pour over. Every coffee I've had has been so good I can taste the care and passion that goes into it. If you haven't, get down to Penn Valley and give it a try.”

“I love it here. Their sandwiches are so good, their staff is so nice, and they carry Montucky cold snacks. Sitting outside w a sandwich and a cold snack after a hike is one of my favorite things to do.”

“This is a little hidden gem in Penn Valley. They’ve got a solid menu of “bar food” and a comfortable area to sit (inside and out). I especially liked the Mastiff Bites. The burgers and fries were good too. My husband really likes their beer, too!”

“Great place, great food, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Love it. The bar side was cool as well. The bartender was really sweet and on top of drinks after dinner. Our party played shuffle board for a few hours after dinner. It was a good time. Definitely recommend it if around Penn Valley.”

“The Oaks in Lake Wildwood has wonderful ambience, light and fun atmosphere. The chef does a beautiful job. His name is Chad new management is amazing and all residents are very pleased with the changes love their calamari and shrimp tacos. Also fish and chips are very good and their truffle fries, we eat there quite often”

“Love this community and love our Clubhouse. Yes they had some kinks to work out, especially after Covid, but they have hired a new GM and Dining Director and I see very positive changes. The food is very good, especially their burgers and fish and chips. I love the weekly specials as well. I bring visitors here all the time and they always enjoy the atmosphere and the food. I highly recommend eating at this establishment.”

“The bagels are awesome and the service is great because the staff are personable and attentive. The space is quaint and clean and I had the best halopena bagel with eggs and bacon! I'm visiting from out of town and I will always make a stop to this place.”

“This restaurant never had failed me. I have been eating her for 6 years and my favorite things to get is the pizza or the wings there are a bunch of different flavors such as buffalo,barbecue,and ranch . The burgers are amazing to the Northridge burger is probably my to go to. The dessert is amazing my favorite is probably the New York cheesecake if you are feeling chocolatey the double chocolate cake is also really good. The service here is really great the waitresses are fast and very helpful. The cooks also do an impeccable job on the food. All of the servers are friendly to customers and all very hard workers. All of the servers try their best and want to make you feel as happy as you can. When you first walk in, you were greeted by a server and you're seated at either a booth or a table only adults are sitting at the bar if they want. If you have a little kids that wanna run around and play there is a game room for them to hang out and play and there are a bunch of variety's of games. Such as air hockey and basketball there is also a pool table but if you want to play the pool table, there's also call machines and a candy machine.”

“OMG...I wish I could remember the young Man's name that worked the bar the day we were there for our Nephew's birthday party. He was wonderful. The whole staff was outstanding and the food was delightful!! If you are near Penn Valley please try this place . You won't regret it!!!”

“This isn't the fastest place you're going to get a burger. They are always made to order so I usually expect about a 15 minute wait. But I have to say, it's possibly the best burger in the county! Their signature cheese skirt is a bit much for me, so I started just ordering no cheese. Personally I always have them add bacon (real bacon, not that microwave crap you get at fast food joints) and grilled jalapeños. They never skimp on any of the toppings (the base sauces are mayo and mustard so if you want to change that up just ask). I also usually add a side of fries or jojos. Again, they are made to order and are well seasoned and piping hot.The atmosphere is fairly sterile, but there are a few tables if you're on the road and want to eat in. It is sharing a building with a gas station, so I don't expect a ton of atmosphere. But it definitely makes up for it in their food. They also have hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, Krispy krunch fried chicken and tenders, and a breakfast menu. Prices are pretty reasonable for today and IMHO the quality they put out typically.”

“This was my 2nd visit. Both have been very good. I didn't know they made breakfast sandwiches. I stopped to get my 87 year old dad a sandwich and he said he wanted a breakfast sandwich. He stayed in the car. I walked in and the guy working was so nice greeting me before the door closed. I asked if they made breakfast sandwiches. Absolutely he says. I'm not sure what my dad wants and this guys walks me through some excellent choices. Delicious sandwich made. Hot and just what my dad wanted. Bacon, egg, cheese with garlic aioli. He loved it.”

“How is this place so badly rated? It's the best Taco Bell I've ever been to in my life. The food is consistently good, they give an abundance compared to other locations. And the service is always really nice! Everyone that works there is sweet. Glad to have it local”

“Delicious!!!!! We drive 1.5 hours and stock up. They freeze well. Best to order ahead and reserve what you want because they can sell out fast. Our favorites are the pulled pork and the pot roast but all are great.”

“This eatery is more than a bakery. We found it on yelp today and tried it for the first time. We ordered the chicken enchalada and fish taco meals. Both were very delicious and serving size was huge. I wanted to keep eating even when my belly was full! It comes with a basket of crispy tortilla chips, 1 red and 1 green sauce, a salad, Mexican rice, refried beans that stayed nice and hot in a perfect way thru the meal. The place is so cute, very clean and welcoming. Service is great and friendly. I wish we had discovered Cafe Rico sooner. It is now our new go-to for a wonderful and delicious Mexican meal. We highly recommend it. You will leave well fed and happy, happy!”

“Always excellent food, service, & atmosphere. Fresh juices and mimosas and coffees. I'm both my friend and I had egg scrambles that were delicious. No reservations taken so get there early and be prepared to wait a bit if mornings of Friday or Saturday.”
