Came to this place thinking it was Teddy's Red Tacos and immediately when I walked in, I noticed they had a B rating on the window and that the restaurant was completely empty. That should have been my first red flag to leave. I ordered my usual order of 4 birria tacos that I usually get at Teddy's, and I noticed it was an extra $2 more here than what I usually pay over there which I found strange. While I was waiting, I checked the receipt trying to figure out why it was $2 more and I noticed it said "Azteca Red Taco" at the top of the receipt. I started looking more around the place and the kitchen in the back was super messy and unsanitary looking and the cook wasn't even wearing his mask correctly either. Once I was handed my bag off food, I opened it and I noticed all the salsas and condiments looked different and the aluminum foil the tacos came in was covered in grease and the odor coming from the bag smelled terrible. I told the cashier that this was not Teddy's Red Tacos so why were they advertising themselves as such by having the Teddy's logo outside the building? He got all nervous and said that it's always been like that and I told him I came here for Teddy's not Azteca and that many businesses actually get in trouble for false advertising. Fortunately he understood my disappointment, and I was able to get a refund. You're honestly better off driving the extra 10 minutes and going to the real Teddy's Red Tacos in Downey because this place is very mediocre, deceptive, and sketchy with their practices.

Really good birria spot! Highly recommend it. Consomé is delicious. Staff is really friendly.

Food is good, they need a better salsa for Birria, they use a taco salsa & that does not go with Birria at all, but the Birria flavor is really Good , it's had to eat there is way too hot , but maybe in a cold day it will be ok, good customer service

I was hesitant to try since I thought it was still teddy's red tacos but it's now a different name but overall really delicious and prices were excellent ! The employees were very kind and attentive I really liked that. Only downside was that the aguas frescas weren't good they tasted kinda funny but still great spot

It's a shame that this place is this shady because the food is actually good. Multiple menus posted all around the building and online that say one price but I guess they just charge whatever they want. Both the "platinum plate" and the burrito I orderd were a different price than advertised directly above the register they charged me at. When I brought this up, the cashier (Shal, according to the receipt) had no explanation but refused to adjust the price and just insisted that's what it costs. It's not so much that I mind paying an extra $2.00 but advertising one price and charging another is just plain wrong. I wouldn't even mind so much if they simply crossed out the prices on the menu but refusing to honor a price that is posted directly above my head is ridiculous. Bad business.

I live in the area and didn't know this place existed. I happened to drive by and notice it a few days ago. I had to give it a try because I love birria. There was one worker as cashier and cook. He was extremely friendly and provided speedy service. They have made a regular customer out of me. The place was clean and the food was tasty. The prices are competitive when you compare other red tacos places in the area. This is a great place in LA for you red taco needs.

Love the food. But prices have changed. They won't tell you until you pay. Owner has to change the prices on the menu.

What an amazing place to discover on a random drive by. When I saw the name, it felt like it was calling my name and I had to check it out. I'm glad I did. I tried the Platinum plate which has a little bit of everything (Tacos, Tostada, Quesadilla, Mulita) and it was absolutely delicious. If you're like me and love spicy sauces, than the red sauce here would definitely hit the spot for you. The staff was extremely nice and the chef even came out to check up on my food. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back here.Ps. You must try the Jamaica Lemonade!

Finally got to try this place out and it was pretty good. Had their burrito and their dish that has most of their items. All in all good food.

The tacos are delicious and flavorful, but the staff is so rude!!! We will not be going back!! I don't know what the cashiers and the cooks problem was, my husband and I walked in and they gave my husband and I a dirty look to begin with then when we placed the order the cashier was rude she looked at us in disgust. As we were waiting for our food another lady came in to pick up her food and the cashier was nice. I guess the employees didn't like the fact that my husband is white. We didn't get a thank you or come again, and I'm sure we got overpriced or as my grandma would say you got the gringo price !! We paid $45.00 for 6 tacos never again!!!
