“Updated this review. I came here about 5 years ago and loved it then. It was really good homemade corned beef hash then, and it's still really good. Today, I got a somewhat customized omelette which was also delicious. And they make the best home fries I've had in a long time, maybe ever; they come with onion and bell peppers, but they can be made without them also. It's family owned and the staff acted like it. Very friendly and attentive. Restrooms were tidy and kept clean. The eating area has a somewhat intimate feeling. If there is one thing the restaurant could use, it's either an outdoor awning or an indoor waiting area. It was raining today. Fortunately, my party was seated right away when we arrived, but it quickly got busy afterward and some people had to wait out in the rain to be seated.“

“This place is a hidden gem, I almost didn't find it when I came into the plaza. Coming here started my Sunday on the right foot, the ambience is a bit rustic with wooden tables & cool record players. The service was top notch and the owner gave us fresh pressed orange juice on the house and it was some of the best juice I've had, sweet and not bitter. My family and I ordered the chilaquiles, Sunny's sandwich and the Nashville hot chicken waffle. Across the board all three dishes were delicious and we all loved the soft scrambled eggs. My dish was the nashville hot chicken and it could honestly feed 3 people as the chicken was huge and it also came with eggs & hashbrowns (not pictured here). It had a good kick with a good crisp to it! It is a bit heavy so super recommend sharing this aha. I'll be coming back to try the avocado sandwich & the katsu one.“
“We went to dinner at 9 pm party of 2 (just me and my husband) we were told 30 to 45 min wait which was fine then noticed an hour later new customers walking in and immediately being seated, asked about wait time and we were told an additional 30 mins, when we told her we had already been waiting an hour she said "oh you know what, you're next" we were seated 2 mins later...The server was awesome. Very upbeat and personable. He was very attentive the whole time but not interrupting at all! It was our first time here, and he definitely made our dinner experience enjoyable! (I wish I remembered his name) He gave us great suggestions on what to order.The food was AMAZING! We ordered wings and parmesan spinach & artichoke dip with pita bread chips.. AMAZING!We also ordered the long horn steak, loaded baked potato, and Mac & cheese! Everything was delicious. I didn't need steak sauce or anything. Again, the waiter was great, brought plenty of boxes and bags, and to-go drinks and dinner was a nice night out!“

“We met here for a birthday party. The food was delicious and the service was great. The sandwiches are served on Hawaiian rolls, so they look really giant. The food is fresh, and there are a lot of different sauces to choose from. I chose the Beyond bratwurst. I like it because it was smothered in veggies and a delicious sauce. You have to buy the fries and onion rings separately. There aren't any combos. Drinks are a separate charge, too. I definitely would like to go back.“

“Sammy's will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the choice spot for a dear friend of mine and his mom. We always tried to take his mom (a sweet, quiet Latina lady) out to eat with us, to which she would say, "No, I don't like to eat out." Then we would say, "But it's Sammy's..." and she'd say, "Oh, Sammy's? Ok, let's go." We created some beautiful memories here, both at this location and the other one on Euclid. This location was great for my son when he was little because of all the classic cars references around the restaurant. I still recognize some of the staff when I come back six years later. I like the fact that they bring you a small batch of fries to snack on while waiting for your order but my pet peeve is room temp fries. My sweet potato fries were lukewarm and limp but my partners steak fries were hot and crispy. I’m glad I was able to share them with her. The team members were also soo great in terms of bringing extra fries and they were especially hot. Jennifer was very knowledgeable of their menu and gave options for me to try since it was my first time coming. I also asked the guy who brought our food his name since he was very polite and brought us utensils without having to ask for them his name is Jeremy. Little things matter when it comes to customers and I believe they both were spot on. “Legends has very big proportions. This used to be a regular hangout spot in High School. Came to eat here after a softball tournament and the portions were very large. The food was tasty. I enjoyed the french fries and onion rings. The turkey avocado sandwich was decent but I wish I would have gone with the burger or chicken salad. “My baby sister had this restaurant marked as a place to try and so for our sister dinner we decided to check it out. The ambiance is hipster/trendy. They have inside dining and outdoor dining. We chose to sit outside. They also turn on the heat lamps if it gets a little chilly. Our server was David. Five stars all around. He checked on us and made sure that we were good, he even suggested the truffle fries. Now the food, for appetizers my sister had the calamari and I had the Poutine fries. Both were delicious. The peppers in the Calamari were exquisite. We were kind of full so my sister and I split a burger. The beef was cooked to perfection and the truffle fries made with real truffles were outstanding. After our meal we had the pleasure of meeting Steve the manager who was really nice. I will be back so that my Mr. Can have a go.“
