This place had long been a staple of Alta Loma. Anyone who has ever played sports growing up will forget it. After we won 3 games in a row it was PIZZA PARTY TIME! PR wad one of the parlors that sponsors trams, but always has the best pizza. No matter how far I move I will ALWAYS make Pizza Royal a MUST stop when I visit Cali.
First time going here and we had a great experience. The pizza was amazing! So much cheese and the bottom was crispy. The staff was very friendly and atmosphere was good ol' fun. I will say it did take a long time to get our food but we had beer and it was worth the wait. My suggestion would be to maybe have a kids show or movie playing because all that was on was news and basketball so when you are waiting for a long time for food the kids get antsy. Staff is great, this is as traditional as a pizza place as you can get - lots of picnic style tables and TV's along with video games in the back. It's fun to watch them make the pizzas, there's a window to view them from the sidewalk. Owner also has some Mexican restaurants so they bring in tacos, makes for a great place for appetizers!
