Amazing our family of 5 went out for breakfast today and everything was great from the moment we walked in our waitress Sam was Soo great and they had a table waiting for us when we walked in. Traveling back to the PNW after Christmas in Huntington Beach with daughter, when we decided to have breakfast and fill up before crossing the Siskiyous. Wife found Sweeties in Redding. The people were great and the food was too! Where else can you find a sunflower plant in January but at Sweeties and it was grown by Symatha. Honestly, I don't think I have enjoyed eating out so much as I did at Sweeties, and this was my first time there. It was a toss up between the French toast and the chicken fried steak, I went for the chicken fried steak and I was very impressed with the taste to the point where everything else on my plate had to wait until I finished it.
