Great food, portion sizes and friendly staff. Enjoyed the food. Got a mini bbq chicken bowl with rice and some veggies. Husband got the bbq mix regular plate - with hot rice, cold macaroni salad. Everything tasted great and fresh.
Wish I had food of our plates. We had a to-go phone order. They were great over the phone and very flexible when we called back to add an extra plate to our order. The food was ready when we arrived. Only complaint I that we needed more sauces. The containers were only half way full. We ordered two regular plates. One plate was katsu chicken and the other half and half with bbq chicken and katsu. Had the saimin. Meh. Noodles were sparse, barely any. I think they sat in the soup for too long bc they were not springy but rather mushy. The soup was good just like Hawaii. Still in search of a good bowl of saimin here in LA.
