Matty’s Crawdaddies

I'm pretty sure they sold this place, they've been closed for a couple of weeks and I heard that a place in Hermosa bought them out. Sad!! They literally have the best food in Riviera Village, I love their Yum Salad! Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is probably the spiciest dish you can get anywhere in South Bay, lobster roll was the best I've ever had, period. Matty's was pretty much the only reason I'd even head to Redondo. I hope they open a different location pleeeeease

We had lunch at Matty's yesterday. I had the rice noodle salad with shrimp. It had just the right amount of spice. The shrimp were good size and full of flavor My husband had the rich boy sandwich with pork. He really enjoyed it. Also to start we had the andouille sausage. It was spicy and yummy. We liked it so much we told them it should be offered on the menu as a sandwich. Service was a little slow. But we will definitely be back to try other items

Happened across Matty's on a Friday evening. We sat down for beers and to enjoy the live music. The staff was all super friendly and they had a nice beer selection. We thoroughly enjoyed our 30+ minutes hanging out here. Next time I want to try the food which looked delicious (all fresh/live seafood). As for the atmosphere and staff - 5 stars. They have a quaint outside set-up to adequately address COVID19 concerns. I need to eat something before I can elevate to 5 stars, but...read full review
