I just love this place. It’s such a great neighborhood low key vibe but mixed with some of the best food I’ve had in the Bay Area - unpretentious but inventive, high quality and just hand down delicious. I love that everyone who works at Bottleshop seems to really believe in Bottleshop. It means a lot to have all your staff excited about what this place is doing. The owners are well versed in all things wine and always have something fun on hand. Could not recommend this place more.

BEST everything! A must visit. We were on a tour of California and kept returning - best steak we've ever had - the paella was fabulous - the duck confit, amazing - the charcuterie platter is ridiculously good - all washed down with amazingly delicious wines paired perfectly by the expert taste buds of sommelier, chef and owner, John Graham-Taylor - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Bottleshop is a gem in Redwood City that surpasses all expectations! It feels like a place where people really do know your name and the staff gets to know you & your individual style of wine. Becoming a wine member and understanding wines far and wide across the world is their niche. I cannot say enough about their friendly staff and their knowledge of fine wine!

I came here with a group of girlfriends for some wine. We were warmly greeted by the owner, John's he was very knowledgeable about the wines and made sure we each got the wine that was best suited to each of our pallets. I appreciated the time John took to explain all the wines as well as the time he took to a see our questions. We ordered a charcuterie board which was beautiful! He made sure my gluten free friend was also well taken care of. The food was amazing! I'm looking forward to coming back here to try other items in the menu, all of which sounded amazing!

We held a pre-wedding welcome party here and they did a fabulous job. The food, the wine and the service were exceptional. In addition, because there is limited seating, a lot of mixing and socializing occurred. Fabulous!

Food bites are divine and service is wonderful. Great place for a date night - recommend the Brie and toasted nuts as well as the cheese board. So yummy

I do recommend this place for a nicer meal/date out. Great charcuterie and wine place. Got the cheese board for 2-3 folks to share for 2 and the mushroom truffle pasta. Waiter was very sweet in offering a slice of blue cheese for us and a wine sample before we ordered a glass but was not very available the rest of the time. We made a reservation for my friends bday but is doesn't seem like they do special treats for this. There seemed to be 1 main waiter who was very busy! It's a great concept in that the entrees rotate/change each time and it seems a lot of love was put into it.

First time coming here, this place is definitely a place for you wine consumers. Pretty chill and relaxed environment. The hosts and sommelier are all very cool and knowledgeable with wined. The atmosphere here feels welcoming here. They do have a menu for food and I'm not too sure if this is correct but I believe that they only have food for maybe lunch and dinner time. The other times I don't think they serve food. But the food that they do serve does taste very good. Steaks are cooked medium rare just the way I like it and burrata salad was also very good. Their other dishes also looked very tasty. My friends have said that the ribs were also very good.
Sat at the bar, cute little wine bar! Bartender seemed arrogant and unfriendly.

When I say you need to try Bottleshop - it's obligatory, I can't rave enough about this place! My husband and I stumbled in this place a few months ago wanting to have just a glass of wine and we stumbled upon gold! The charcuterie board is the best we have ever tried and the chefs entree's are life changing, John switches the menu every week and each one is amazing! Everyone who has helped us have been absolutely amazing. It's a great place to relax at the end of the week with good food, great company and great wine!

Such a lovely and memorable wine bar / bistro! The moment we walked in, we could tell this place has a special ambiance where everyone knows each other. Super cozy and cute. The bartenders and waitstaff converse with customers who are clearly long-timers. We sit at the bar and the sommelier / bartender tells us on Fridays they do a wine flight. Today it's a flight of Barolo. We've never heard of Barolo before but the sommelier was great at explaining the history and significance to non-winos.Their food menu is very small - the chef basically goes to the market each day and decides what to make based on what ingredients look good - but trust me everything is delicious. I ordered a pasta that was definition one of the best pastas I've ever had in my life. We also ordered one of their charcuterie boards. These are definitely very decadent and pricey but worth it! Overall, we ended up spending $160 for 2 people. So this is definitely a special occasion place but it's so lovely. Great for an anniversary or something.

Quite knowledgeable about their wines, every wine on the menu is tempting. They do a phenomenal job with food in an almost non-existing kitchen. Beautiful charcuterie creations for a long time and savor the different tastes.
