Forever a favorite with us, both San Leandro and Redwood City locations. Great pastrami, roast beef and turkey dinners and sandwiches. Wonderful side dishes and desserts. Friendly staff.

Not much to say here. Old school hofbrau, salty employees, great food and beer. Highly recommend!

Met some friends for drinks, I've driven past Harry's a million times but haven't been inside. What a great bar and trainable priced. Definitely will be going back.

Very impressed with the cheerful attitudes and most efficient food delivery, very generous and scrumptious selections.I had the Prime rib platter which was huge and delicious and the wife had turkey enchilada which she only could eat half of it.

We decided to have dinner at Harry's Hofbrau on a Sunday night after driving by and seeing the long line of people heading into this spot. We instantly had a hankering for some good old hofbrau cuisine. This was not the first time we have eaten here, and I finally am getting around to writing a review. We ended up heading over around 6:30pm on a Sunday night and wow...the crowds of people making the same decision was entertaining. Even though there was a constant flow of people going in, the staff does a great job at managing the line and getting folks through to enjoy their meals. We ended up ordering the turkey dinner, a roast beef dinner, and a side of mac and cheese for our son. We opted for the mashed potatoes and gravy along with the house salad, and mixed veggies as our sides. Turkey was a mix of white and dark meat. We asked for the gravy to be on the side along with the salad dressing. I would recommend this tip to those that like to control how gravy/dressing is put on their food as they are very generous with these if you let them dress your food for you. The portions were large and I found the price paid for the amount of food made it a good value. My son enjoyed his mac and cheese and the portion was enough for him to have this for lunch the next day. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. It does not live up to a home cooked turkey or roast beef meal, but when you are on the go and want something fast without putting the hours of cooking in, Harry's Hofbrau would be a good bet.

The turkey car right off the bird multiple choices on a side it gave you the option to eat healthy the roasted potatoes gravy on the side with the pesto cold pasta butterfly noodles that was great after a workout and they give you 7 oz of turkey which is a decent amount for one meal

Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City has been my go to restaurant for 55 years. Little has changed over the years as far as the menu staples are concerned. It still serves numerous meats cooked and served hofbrau style in generous portions. Their wide selection of salads will satisfy the tastes of most anyone. They offer senior discounts on some meals at a very favorable price. Their foods are basic, simple, and delicious. I love their roast beef and tritip sandwiches the best as well as their Turkey dinners. My elder daughter and her daughter insist on at least one lunch at Harry's every time they visit from Seattle and they usually pack an extra roast beef sandwich or two for the plane trip back to Seattle. Their San Jose restaurant closed a year or so ago to my disappointment. That location was also very popular but needed to close since the shopping center it was located in was being torn down and repurposed by San Jose. .

This is a cafeteria style, where you grab a tray, walk down the line, indicating to the server what you want. The hot sandwiches were good, and the portions of the dinner (I had ribs) were more then enough The bar offers varied craft beers in addition to the usual brands

Finally..in house dining...still excellent.. lots of free parking...great senior discounts.. for sure will return..

Still requiring MANDATORY MASAK for All Patrons to walk in the door. Silly, since everyone in the place immediately removes the mask throughout the restaurant after the order line. It is almost comical and very inconvenient. Notice many patrons having to go back to cars to get masks. Will not return and not recommend to friends until Mandatory Masking rule is removed.
