This place on El Camino is unassuming but definitely worth a visit. I work across the street and never went till a coworker suggested. For sure glad he did. The food is excellent. Some of the best Chinese I've had in some time. Some dim sum selections that I have not tried before. The owner/host was very sweet and kind. She had great recommendations. Would recommend and am definitely going back.

I've been on a hunt for the best spicy beef noodle soup in the Bay Area, and I must say – the Redwood Original Spicy Noodle Soup (with beef instead of pork) is top notch! So so good, I want to eat it again and again. Loved the jalapeños, numbing Szechuan broth, tender beef, thick and plentiful noodles, and pickled greens. All around, a phenomenal soup, at a great price. Can't wait to return. Thank you!

Good food. I don't recommend going to eat here in person though. We were ignored until we sat ourselves and ordered pick-up on our phones. It arrived after almost 30 minutes, but the owner did give us free rice and was apologetic. I don't think they actually have enough staff, but it's a lovely mom and pop operation. I recommend to order out from here.

Waited for 2 hours to get food today and they didn’t even start cooking it yet. This is after placing order and them saying it’ll be ready at 5pm. By 7pm still nothing, when I show up twice already. Terrible service, terrible communicationApparently they prioritize DoorDash over all other orders because of ratings.Would not recommend.

Really tasty food! - all our dishes were great. My friend is American Chinese, so we are more particular than most, but she was completely satisfied and happy. We are stoked; been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for awhile and now have our go to.

The food was tasty and there were lots of vegetarian options. The szechuan eggplant didn't actually have szechuan or much spice, it just tasted like basil eggplant (but was still tasty). I like how crispy the kung pao tofu was. The people were friendly but took a while to bring our rice.

The best Combination Fried Rice in the Bay Area. Not over saturated in soy sauce, the chicken is tender, the shrimps are perfect size, and the beef slices melted in my mouth ?

I've been ordering delivery from here for the longest time and it's always delicious. I had the pleasure of being in the area today and eating there in person was even better! Honestly I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. My favorite is the Szechuan wonton soup.

Poor cuts of meat, dried, hard with no way to chew it, happens everytime we order the chicken or beef. We let the owner know and she did nothing about it. Go to Spicy Empire or Crouching tiger.
