Closed again. There's butcher paper up in the windows and a sign saying that a fusion hot pot place is coming soon. Oh well. I never RESPECTED their food, but I always kind of liked it.
They said they were closed for remodeling but seems like nothing changed. My theory is that they just closed down to do a deep clean so they won't be shut down again by the health dept. Same owners but brand new wait staff. Both were very friendly and the female staff even tried to play with my son and comfort him. RIP... been here when it first opened. Great lunch special as you could get a delicious meal for $9 a person (including iced coffee!) Our group had many enjoyable lunches here. Owner and servers (Mandy, especially!) were great. It was also one of the few places that served Taiwanese specialties like oyster omelet. With the change in economy (and servers and chefs), the service and food deteriorated, and 168 finally met its end. Good bye, you will be missed.
