Since reopening after a remodel, Asian Pearl has raised its game and is now a first rate dim sum restaurant.The food is top-notch. most of it is excellent and we haven't had anything mediocre. We had to try the shrimp dumplings with squid ink wrappers, expecting it to just be a gimmick. Not so - the wrappers add an intriguing second flavor. Okay dimsum restaurant. As of July 2023 they reopened under new management, I think. The only thing I really noticed is that they added a giant TV on o one of the walls. The restaurant looks modern and new with a bit of fancy pants flair. Chairs are not very comfortable as they have this weird placement of a metal bar behind your calve muscle that just digs in. Excellent dinner. We came at 7 on a weeknight and there was plenty of space. The live seafood is very cool to see as you get in. The duck was top notch, and the portions were extremely healthy - we had so much leftover. Can’t wait till we comeBack!
