Best fried chicken sandwich in the Bay Area. I tried every single place I could within a 10 mile radius and found Fowl + Fare as a popup in a bar a mile away from me in Oakland, so I went almost every week. Then they moved into a new location in Alameda, and now I commute on the bus for 45 minutes every week just to eat here. Not only is this the best fried chicken I've ever had, it's imo some of the best food in the bay overall. Every sandwich is worth trying but my go to classic is citric hot. And with the seasoning they have the fries are also a must. So glad they're still around and kicking.
