“Does well as delivery. Garlic noodles with extra chicken was tasty, not overwhelming or overly greasy. The extra chicken portion was generous. Egg rolls were crisp snd flavorful. Thai iced tea with oat milk hit the spot, is not overly sweet, and I really appreciate that PraJam has 3 milk options to choose from (Half & Half, Oat, and Coconut). The weakest link was the mango & sticky rice: tasty, good and generous mango, but the rice was not as sticky as I like it. Rice also could have used more sesame seed topping, but it was still yummy. Prices were sometimes a little high (nearly $11 for mango&sticky rice), but not terribly so. Glad this place has opened in my neighborhood.“
“We enjoyed a great lunch. Very fresh food. I enjoyed the daily special which was avocado seafood dish. My colleagues enjoyed lunch specials. Everything here is fresh, service is quick and prices reasonable. This was not my first time here and won't be my last time.Vegetarian options: Many optionsParking: Street parking is available.“
“Food was impeccable. It gave me something to look forward to next time i’m in SF. They kindly exchanged a curry platter that was too spicy for me personally after a small misunderstanding and were really sweet about the whole thing. 11/10“
“Driving home from a road trip & wanted to eat Thai food. This place had parking & was not too far from the highway. We had tofu green salad rolls, tofu green curry with jasmine rice, Tom yum fried rice without egg, Thai iced tea with coconut milk, & jasmine tea.“
“I love your SOMTAM ! All dish are delicious and heartfelt.. and hosts are kind and very speedy. They look proud of their foods and I think it deserves. I will be back and enjoy their other dish.Vegetarian options: They have vegan options for many dish(like tofu for protein). and I enjoyed their “Pad kee mao “and it had various stir vegetable in it. ?? “
“I wish I found this place sooner. The restaurant just opened a couple years ago. Funny cause this isn’t that far from the other Thai resto my boyfriend and I used to go and didn’t know they exist. Anyways I ordered their Tom Yum fried rice that comes with grilled salmon and it was really delicious. For me it was the best Tom yum fried rice I’ve ever had. The fish cakes did not disappoint they were yummy. Their roti according to my boyfriend is the most delicious hetried so far.“
“Wonderful restaurant! Great food, great atmosphere. I recommend the Florentine Benedict. Absolutely delicious. My niece had the brioche French toast and said it was one of the best she has ever had. And the service was great. We will definitely be back.“
“Best Thai food in the Bay Area. The Khao Soi soup is an explosion of flavor and so delicious. The way they package it to go, your soup and chicken stay hot and your crispy bits stay crispy it's magical. Every time family visits me here, I order from here. The staff is also incredible. I will continue to frequent this place regularly until I leave the Bay.“
“I have had plenty of Thai/Laos food, with some favorites. Therefore, I believe my experiences meet the requirements to post a review. Without any biases, Sue's Kitchen is AMAZING!!! If I had a microphone, yes it would have been dropped. A must try, the Onion Rings and Calamari (yes it's fried, what did you think?). Any time I go to a 'new-to-me' Thai restaurant, I get the Pad Thai and Spicy Basile Chicken. Great dishes to use as a measuring rod. In my loud voice, "OUTSTANDING" !!! This is just the beginning of my journey through Sue's menu. Hope to see you along the way!!!“
“Had dinner on Sunday night, full house with people waiting probably means a 5-star. However the main dishes (beef combination rice noodle, crispy pork with vege) we ordered were quite sweet and salty, different to what we expect in authentic Thai cuisine. Prices are reasonable, most items are $15-$20, large portion. It seems this is probably the only Asian restaurant within a 2 mile radius.“
“Great Thai restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere and service. Some of the dishes are outstanding. The Kha Moo was an excellent dish of Thai meets Chinese influence with meat that just melts in your mouth. The fresh spring rolls appetizer is not to be missed; delicious ingredients served with 2 well contrasting “
“food: WOW 10/10 the Mussamun Neur was so delicious. If you like peanuts and red curry this will blow your mind it's so tasty and flavorful! I ordered door dash takeout but I will definitely be dining in and having this to get the full experience :) I also ordered a side of wings and they are also super yummy no complaints at all! Once before I had their dessert roti with condensed milk and it was a sweet and tasty treat :)I cannot speak on service and ambiance but I will be returning soon and with company!“
“A fusion restaurant with fun dishes and flavors. We were a group of three and ended up splitting the chicken and waffles, hot pot, and Gatai (Thai breakfast with minced chicken and egg). Everything is really tasty with a slight Thai twist to it. Our favorite was the chicken and waffles as their waffles tasted more like Belgian waffles. They have a bottomless brunch mimosa which can be great if you want to get the party started early. But it also means it can get a bit loud. Their non-alcoholic drinks also looked good. I had the Thai iced tea which was a bit on the sweeter side but just the jolt I needed.I’d come back if I was in the area, esp for the waffles.“
“Ordered lunch to go for three. Quick and courteous service. Excellent curries and pad Thai. A number of vegetarian options. The curried fish is incredible! Will definitely go again!Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian dishes with vegetarian options on a few dishes, but not with the main curries.“
“We have been dining at Soi4 since it opened. Most recently we have been ordering takeout which is always good. We stopped in for dinner last night and found they had a fabulous happy hour menu. Extensive list of well balanced cocktails for $10, and small bites for $8. Everything was delicious and service and presentation were stellar. An enjoyable evening was had by all and we will definitely dine in more often!“
“Local spot serving the absolute best Thai food you will eat. I eat here multiple times a month and the food is always consistently outstanding. It is a bit spicy so order mild if you're not sure. Great service, they are very polite and kind.Vegetarian options: You can get the curries and noodles veggie with tofu.“
“Food: 4-5/5Ambiance: Nice Ordered the Khao Soi, Mhoo Palo, and the Angry Basa. I was pleasantly surprised with the basa and it was probably my favorite dish. It's a softer breading with a good blend of flavors from garnishes. It wasn't a blow your mind first bite, but it was that comfort food "mmmm" taste to me. The Khao Soi is exactly how it should be. The Mhoo Palo is similar to Chinese "hong shao rou" and while it was quite good, I probably wouldn't order again.Value-wise, the menu is priced similar to other Thai restaurants in SF in the same tier of quality.Would come back again to try more dishes. I had a pleasant first experience.“
“The appetizers, mains, and deserts are all top notch here. As a "farang" who worked in Thailand, in large part because of my love of the food and culture, I am picky about my Thai spots. This one hits all the high notes. They can make anything American spiciness, but can also do "ped maak" for those of us that love true Thai spiciness. meat and veg dishes are equally delicious. Presentation is artful and the service is tremendous with the sweetest staff around. Whether you do noodles, meats, or veggies for the main, don't miss the fried bananas and coconut ice cream desert!“
“The food is very good, as are the prices. Duck curry is excellent, although they could be a tiny bit more generous with the duck. A sense of authentic Thai cuisine and culture right down to the seasoning and herbal tea leaves.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: Door seems wide enough. No stairs. Some tables accessible from the doorway. It is a relatively small restaurant.“
“Super fresh, good for a variety of eaters with different appetites. Very happy with my clay pot veggies, steamed to just tender and well seasoned/sauced. Service was a little scattered, but it might have been a busier lunch shift than normal.“
“Cozy, petite Thai eatery on Lombard, designed to evoke a manicured side street in Bangkok.Tom Kha Soup, a coconut milk broth wonderfully fragrant from lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, galangal and chili — perfect with a side of rice noodles dipped in.While tasty, the price point seems to reflect more the neighborhood than the kitchen’s unique ability. Nothing far from the classic standard.“
“Having tried many many thai restaurants in Berkeley and Oakland, Charm has become my go-to in the last year or so. The khao soi, duck noodle soup, and seafood pumpkin curry are a few of my favorites but everything I’ve tried here has been spot on. Service is excellent, food is delicious, and prices are good. There are also lots of vegetarian options that my girlfriend enjoys. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth stopping by.Vegetarian options: My vegetarian girlfriend loves the veggie menu here. They can also accommodate tofu substitutions for some dishes that aren’t labelled as vege.“
“Delicious food and great service. We ordered the Tom Kha soup, pumpkin curry and pad see ew. We were given large portions so nice for leftovers! The service was excellent very friendly and checking in on us periodically. We came before the dinner rush and loved having the space and staff attention.Vegetarian options: Most items you can choose your own protein including veggies or tofu“
“Our dining experience at Bangkok Garden last evening was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the staff. They promptly escorted us to our table, where our orders were taken and served with remarkable efficiency. Accompanied by our two young children, who were exceptionally well-catered to, we indulged in a variety of dishes. The grilled chicken satay and the fresh spring rolls were the stars of the evening. It's certain that we will be returning for another memorable meal. Bangkok Garden comes highly recommended!“
“We had diner at Thai Lao restaurant this evening with some friends and got a wonderful experience. The restaurant is very cosy and well managed, the food is delicious healthy and the plates well served. People are efficient, dedicated and polite. Special thanks to the boss, a wonderful women, Merci beaucoup et q bientôt!“
“My go to Thai restaurant just around the corner. All the dishes are excellent, the fresh flavors are just popping in your mouth. They spice their food Thai hot so be careful. I can handle a little bit of heat and medium is perfect. Really nice people. Sat down for the first time last Saturday on a rainy evening. Great service and I was surprised by all the locals eating in. Highly recommend.“
“This is our first time at this place. The place has a good number of tables and clean.Servers are very friendly and attentive.Food is great! Especially love the Organic Special I had with brown rice. My partner's dish Khao Soi (beef curry noodles) was also tasty with enough spice to it.Will definitely return again.“
“Okay, I've had Thai food literally all over the world and this is the best I've ever had. Neighborhood is awful, but the restaurant itself the service amazing make up for it. I ordered The pad thai, the pad see ew, add a tie ice tea.“
“Consistent, tasty, and super fast and friendly service. If you’re looking for the classics of Thai street food, you’ll find them here. Not avant garde, just everything as you’d expect - which is great. Mild is mild, spicy is spicy. Vegetarian options: Likely anything can be made vegetarian aside from fried chicken.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the main dining area.“
“It's wonderful to have a high quality Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Thai Delight does a good job with the menu, and the ambience is great. Casual but very clean, quiet, and comfy. The new owners have transformed one wall into a charming mural that defies description. Service is at times uneven but mostly warm and attentive. It's become our go-to spot.“
“Generous portions of food, packed with flavor! We got these dishes with spring rolls and shared it all1. Sweet chicken on rice - crispy sweet & spicy chicken came with rice, loved it2. Pad Thai3. Duck noodle soupDelicious and packaged very well.“
“Visited with my family on a Tuesday night and surprisingly the restaurant was packed. We thought all the dishes tasted incredibly delicious and authentic, with the prices being reasonable. For appetizers, we indulged in curry puffs, satay chicken (served with peanut sauce), and fried spring rolls. Moving on to the entrees, we savored their rich and creamy yellow chicken curry, flavorful pad see ew with tofu, mild spicy fried rice, and the chef's recommendation— the Moo Dang dry noodle which turned out to be my favorite.Following our satisfying meal, our desserts arrived. We opted for the classic mango sticky rice and their Valentine's special dessert— strawberry mochi ice cream with strawberry whipped cream! Heaven for strawberry lovers. The service was very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The interior was full of beautiful Valentine's decorations, such as cute hearts! They even featured a love month menu with special drinks such as their Love Potion and Love is In The Air.In conclusion, I highly recommend this place. This restaurant gives cozy and lovely vibes, making it an ideal choice for a special Valentines day dining experience!“
“We used to LOVE Giin Thai on Shattuck, and these are the same people! We had the Khao soi, string beans, thom kha chicken and it was all so delicious. So happy to have found this place. Will definitely be coming back. ?Vegetarian options: Khao soi, egg plant, string beans, and moreParking: Their parking lot is small (8-10? spots), but we've always found a spot in it, and there is street parking too.“
“No complaints here. We went at an off time so the restaurant was pretty empty and we were served in a timely manner. Inside it's clean and fun thai decorations and paintings around. Not too much else to say about that they also had mints and candy when you leave which I appreciate a lot. For food I got the khao soo and let me tell you they do not skimp on portions. All my friends foods were very well sized given the price and I took basically another meals worth of khao soo back home. The soup it's self was ver flavorful and rich broth and the noodles were chewy and a good feel. They use chicken breast pieces I believe instead of bone in chicken legs. The mango sticky rice was a classic they drizzle some sweet coconut syrup on top as well“
“I ordered a chicken pad kea mao (drunken noodles) and it was really good although… they gave me pork instead of chicken. And I didn’t know about that until they came over to the table with the plate that had chicken. Thankfully I am able to eat pork but… be careful if you are not— ask twice to make sure you get the right dish. Otherwise, they were very accommodating to our very large group.“
“I got food for takeout! Unfortunately no pictures because I was too excited to eat, haha. Ordered online and food was not quite ready when I arrived to pick up, but the lovely person behind the counter was eager to help me with packing utensils and extras. She asked if I wanted hot sauce and I agreed; came home to find out she had packed not only a container of chili sauce, but also individual containers of chili oil and chili powder! It also turns out I didn't need it; the spice here is real, haha. Not enough to stop me from eating it, but enough to remind me of consequences a day later. As others have noted, the pad see ew (and probably the pad Thai though I have not tried it yet) are sweeter than I am used to. I'm not sure why it gave me vibes of maple syrup.Everything was well packed. I got the khao soi (curry noodle soup) and none of it spilled in transit. I don't know why the restaurant was pretty empty around noon on a Wednesday, but I'm definitely coming back to try more of the menu.“
“Nice, located of Willow shopping center. Several eateries nearby including a drive in Starbucks. I looked around and decided to go for the Won Thai restaurant, ordered the lunch special, fried catfish with rice, on the plate I got a colorful plate with a scoop of steam rice next to pan fried filet of catfish with plenty of green beans, fresh tomato pieces, sautéed on a lite curry sauce and sliced purple and green cabbage garnish.“
“This is a must go for any Thai food enthusiasts. The food is delicious, and the little restaurant has a cozy ambiance which adds to the charm of the experience. Easily some of the best, most rounded, and expressive flavors of the Thai restaurants I've been to in the Bay Area. I strongly recommend!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian curries, rice dishes, noodles dishes were all amazing.“

“Great ambiance. We showed up just in time for their happy hour from 5 to 6 PM. We ordered Thai ice tea and one of their fun cocktail called summer Spritz followed by Samosa appetizers, pork belly and Kumamoto oysters.Moving onto entrées we ordered a very spicy seafood stew called Run Juan sizzling Seafood stew, Pork Pad Thai and Penang Neua which was a marinated fall off the bone beef rib. The place is beautiful inside. Food and service were excellent.“
“I can't do spicy. Had the Pad Ka Pow with minced pork. Extremely delicious! Like I said I can't do spicy. Server said it's about 1 on a scale 1 to 5. I'm just a big fat baby can't do it. My man had the Run Juan Seafood. He truly enjoyed it scale 1 to 5 it was a 10. I will definitely go back. Check them “
“This place never disappoints! I’ve had their vegetarian Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Tofu rolls. No matter how many times I order here, the food always hits the spot. It’s super easy to get to. The guy who always rings me up in the front is absolutely wonderful and very personable. If you’re looking for really good Thai food with amazing vegetarian/vegan options, this is the place! Can’t wait to come back next time ?“
