She was delightful and her attentiveness was perfectly in the Goldilocks zone. As an aside, the restaurant itself was very well kept up and clean. It also has very clever seating with center aisle round booth type tables that make everyone sitting at them feel like they have an aisle seat with entrances on two sides. Great for groups. We ordered everything from ribs to waffles to salads and everything was great. We highly recommend the nachos and Mac. I was a bit confused that the salad didn't come with dressing, but the waitress happily brought us a side of ranch. Drinks were good, we ordered the whiskey lullaby (but they couldn't make it) so got an old fashioned instead and it was good. The "just keep swimming" was my favorite drink, it was just full to top of the fishbowl with ice. I'd probably ask for less ice next time. The inside is a little dark and loud. I chose the pork chops, but got the breakfast as it was a lot cheaper. We were both very pleased with our orders. She was able to make herself four tacos and loved her rice and beans. My pork chops had great flavor. I loved my hash browns as well. My two eggs and biscuits and gravy were also very good. An added bonus was at the drinks fountain. They had grape soda. Not only the best deal in town but also the best flavor! Taste matters. Ooo yeah, the server... they have a great patio area, too. It was nice sitting outside. However, that smog cloud of cannabis was not appreciated at all. And it was a smog cloud. They were asked to stop, but it was not enforced, and management never followed up to watch the back of their staff. Management, please allow me to remind you that smoking cannabis inside or outside in public places is still against the law. Please be reminded I shouldn't have to choke down my meal in a cloud of cannabis or drive home smelling like I took part in the activity. Kinda put a dark cloud on the fun we wanted to have. And then there was our server, Kim. She was so much fun and so funny. She brought our tacos faster than any place we have ever been for tacos. Our drinks were yummy, too. But that Kim girl really tried hard to make us overlook the rude group beside us that took no one else into consideration. They almost killed our not buzzed experience. Kim, N will be back. Just please show this to management to remind them of the law or to at least have them install fans to clear the air on the patio from contact highs. 2024 cannabis smells NASTY and is still not legal to smoke or vape in public places! The restaurant interior was pretty empty because it's inside a hotel but the waiter was very nice and checked on me throughout my meal with good service. Great steak!“
