Randomly stumbled upon this place and their card system was down so had to pay cash. The workers were super nice and gave us two free teas for the inconvenience. First off, wow the food here is something else. I tried out the Monja red grain pork with rice and also with dry noodles and it's very unique. This was a really great experience. Found parking in front of the restaurant and it had no wait time. We ordered the bbq grain rice dish, pork chop rice, chicken rolls, and I got a black tea. The food definitely caught me by surprise. The bbq pork looked amazing and tasted great. Albeit, it's very different from regular tasting bbq pork. Review for drinks only!It's been years since I have had monja taiker. I was nearby getting banh mi and decided to pop in to get a drink. I've only dined in once. But I have had their drinks many times. I got the black milk tea with boba. The drink was as creamy and delicious as I remember. There aren't many boba locations on this side of Garvey.
