If you're in the area and looking for a reasonably priced delicious sandwich you can't do better than this. I had the over the top chicken salad sandwich and it was easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in Recent memory. The Dutch crunch was warm and fresh and complimented the cool creamy chicken salad and crunchy bacon perfectly. The smoky spicy jalapeño sauce had just enough kick and brought the whole sandwich together. The interior is welcoming has a decent amount of table and bar-style seating. Service was speedy and friendly, It's clear from the warm welcomes and steady flow of regulars that this is a local favorite. I understand why people love this place and I'll definitely be back many times.

Best chili and Mac and cheese I've had under one roof in a while! Also, their chicken sandwich with jalapeño is a masterpieces of flavor, portions price! We ordered to go, and our pick up time was honored on the minute. Their chocolate chip cookies are huge and delicious.

This place is so great. I was a little worried that after their #18 on Yelp's list that would overwhelm this small intimate shop. But no worries I have now been there 3 times since they got their rating and the place (and owner) are unfazed by their stardom. I had a terrific Nor Cal with the owner cracking jokes and smiling the whole time. The staff (mostly his wife and daughter) also were grinning ear to ear. They have a little sign up apologizing for wait times but I didn't wait and today I came in at 12:20 PM. I strongly recommend Guy's for a great place to get a great sandwich.

I ordered the 1/2 sandwich/soup combo (Pastrami sandwich/Clam Chowder), and altho there wasn't a lot of meat on the sandwich, especially compared to the size of the roll, it was very tasty. For a cream soup, the Clam Chowder was a little watery, but again, the taste was there. This was my second time there and I'll keep coming back to try different soups/sandwiches because the food is good. My friend ordered the Chicken Salad which was on a Dutch Crunch roll and she loved it. I noticed her filing was more in proportion to the size of the roll. The owner, Guy, is very friendly and even when the line is out the door, service is fast.

I got the Hot Pastrami sandwich and it was very good. The bread is nice soft and slightly chewy and has a nice crisp on the tops on edges. Cuts of meat in the sandwich are quality. The customer service is top notch. Nice mellow music inside the venue as well. I would recommend this as the go to sandwich spot in the greater Sacramento Area.

Did not expect my sandwich to be that delicious. Driving from San Francisco to have their sandwich was worth the 2 hour drive! Very friendly atmosphere and the people were nice! Their homemade macaroni salad was so good that I had to order another one to take home and also their chili soup!!! I had their Italian sandwich and it was just right. The bread was toasted and tasted so good it was out of this world!I wanted to go to their mall but it was so hot and crowded that I drove right back home! I would most definitely drive their again for their food on my weekends off! ?

Excellent experience! Picked this place for lunch based on positive reviews. Guy offered a free "shot" of chili as soon as we walked in. Chose the "change your life" chicken salad sandwich and a cup of chili. Sourdough bread was a phenomenal complement. Went back a second time the next day!
