Saturday 2/15/23 Dinner at Shancheng Lameizi Restaurant in Rowland Heights with my cousin. Spicy hot pot with various meats and vegetables. They got a great side sauces and deserts-appetizers bar (Unlimited enjoyment). It was my first time trying this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. I got their mushroom broth because I cannot do mala. Service was quick and the meat was really good! There was a long way on a Friday night however, we checked in on our way there. The parking is hectic, however, definitely will come back .

Great spot if you like mala (numbing and spicy) hotpot. It's Chongqing style, so spicy means spicy, and there are quite a few Sichuan peppercorns floating around--some don't like that, but I love it and that's exactly what I was looking for. They do have split pots so that you can get half spicy half not if you have a group with mixed preferences.
