Sat there for 10 min with no acknowledgement. Asked if we could get some drinks. They said ya and continued ignoring us. There was 2 other tables. Rediculous. They did tell us to have a good night on the way out though. ?

I love going here! It's a smaller restaurant so the staff is more attentive. I love that the menu rotates with the season. I've been going here for years now. Never disappoints

This small restaurant impresses with its diverse menu, including standout dishes like salmon cakes, tiramisu mousse, and shrimp & polenta. Despite its size, the service is commendable, with one server efficiently managing the entire establishment. The excellent value for money, coupled with multiple vegan options, makes it a standout choice for a recommendation.

I ate here and the food took a very long time to come out, and then arrived lukewarm. Hours later, I had symptoms of food poisoning from the salmon dish. Obviously not a lot of food safety prioritization from the staff.

Our experience at Capitol Garage was fine, but not great. The menu online was not accurate because they had changed their menu at some point, which meant I couldn't get the meal I really wanted and had planned to get. The food took over 45 minutes to get to our table from the time we ordered, and it was okay, but not amazing. Overall, it was okay, but I probably wouldn't go again because there are lots of other amazing restaurants in the area.

Close to the parking garage and downtown theater. Told the waiter that we were going to a show and the food came quickly. I had a delicious BBQ burger and my wife had the walnut salad. We shared and were satisfied and it was the perfect lunch.Kid-friendliness: Lots happy kids eating with grandparents ☺️.
We came here for dinner before our Broadway show and our reservation was at 6:00PM. We placed our order quickly within being seated. We had to wait over an hour for our food which was terrible because by the time it finally came out, we had to scarf it down in 10 minutes and rush off to our show. I ordered the chilli and cornbread and when the food came out, my cornbread was cold and my chilli was mediocre. We sadly will not be coming back and if you are coming here to eat on a time crunch, I would warn you that it might be over an hour wait for your food, as it was for us.

Managed a last-minute reservation. The place was packed and so loud. Opted to sit outside, although it was freezing as this was better than inside due to the noise. Unfortunately, the heater nearest us was never turned on. It was difficult to sit down as there were too many tables for the patio space. We ordered promptly as we were told it would be 45min wait for food. Well, this ended up being 70-75 minutes for our food. The entire restaurant had cleared out, and we finally got our food. Benedict was pretty basic. The breakfast burger was fine. The walut pasta with chicken was bland. Zero flavor. The amount of chicken was tiny. Unfortunately, while well located, this place is sub-par. Would not recommend.

When I arrived with my friend, I had a reservation and was seated in a table close to the door. When asked to sit at the next table (which was empty), the server said that it was reserved by someone online. I had also reserved online, and didn't realize that there was a different site that gave the option to choose tables to sit. Upon looking at the menu when in the restaurant, it was not the same as written online. When I asked the server to come over and started to explain why I came to Capital Garage, the server cut me off mid-sentence and said that the paper menu was the current menu and they had issues with changing the online menu. It was disturbing that he interrupted me and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Instead he stated that everything on the menu was good. That wasn't the complaint. Then to add to the upset change in food options, the dessert chocolate mouse, was not available. Not the best visit. If I wasn't tired, I totally would have walked out. The last two times I visited, were much better visits. If I recommend Capitol Garage, I would have the person call for the most updated menu and how to best reserve a table.
I had a breakfast reservation at 9:30. I was a bit shocked to see that my son and I were the very first customers. Which made for a very quick seating “We had a choice “ We got settled and the host informed us that our server would be right over. My apologies but I forgot her name and he did say it. Anyway she was upbeat and informed, also thanks to the chief I was able to get a version of Steak and eggs and Steak and eggs weren't on the menu. Talk about customer service. Overall a great choice to celebrate my son's 20th birthday.

I was so surprised at how good the food and service were! The Chicken Spinach Gnocchi was wonderfully prepared, the fries were perfect, and the burgers were on point. GREAT service, our waiter was exactly what a waiter should be; personable, attentive, funny without trying, helpful, and professional. Will definitely return!
